Resting and Roaming

All of the images and visions I’ve received lately have to do with how we are best served by BEING in this current moment and understanding how no moment lasts forever.

While at the same time, the Universe is reminding us of how we are here for the Journey.  The TRIP is the point, not the “end” of our adventure.  Because in truth, what we perceive as the end, isn’t.

Feel free to hum and sing with this one:

As we travel along . . . . .

To simultaneously be still and acknowledge movement would seem impossible.  And yet, that’s kind of our goal.

We know we’re all excursion-ing on the path, but we also try really hard to appreciate our now.  Sound conflicting?  I agree.

             I’m told though, it’s completely do-able.

On our (still-not-finished) card altar, we have been gifted the perfect validation.  Because, of course we have.

journey messages

“Expecting Miracles

‘Miracles are blossoming in my life.’

Card Meaning:

Majestic wonders are unfolding for you, even as you read this.  Watch for them and embrace them.

The more you become aware of the small marvels in your life, the more they will grow in magnitude around you.

The Universe wants you to know:

What is expected tends to be realized.  Expect miracles in your life.

Celebrate and cherish them when they appear, no matter how small they may seem.

Let go of fear and expectations; allow the Creator to solve your challenges in mysterious ways.  Don’t limit the ways in which you think miracles can appear in your life.

Know that you can be the miracle in the life of another.

Questions to ask yourself:

How can I be even more open to miracles blossoming in my life?  What are the miracles that are occurring now or are coming in the future?  How am I a miracle for others?

Miracles are blossoming in my life.”

summer out-house

The heat of summer continues here, as we pass Lammas and Lughnasadh.  Brown more prevalent than green around us now.   I’m not editorializing, merely stating facts.  The Wheel of the Year turns.  And we ride along.

Themes!  The Universe does nothing but create themes and patterns.  And we’re currently stuck inside of one.

The images I was gifted with this morning were all about the equality of the Whole.  And of ourselves.  Our balanced and attuned selves.

Think of the seasons.  And how one offsets the other, as they are on a wheel of the year.

Life – Death/Old – New

As spring blossoms gather and then drop, so too, do the leaves of autumn fall.  It’s that beginning/ending that we need to focus on right now.

Every ending equals a beginning.  Every death brings new life.  Every season is followed by the next.  These are the productive/destructive cycles of our planet.  All is in perfect balance and is rolling along precisely as it should, as it needs to in this current time and place.

While that’s a very challenging and difficult concept to wrap our heads around sometimes (often!), it is the truth.  And it is how we need to accept our lessons.  Can we do better than where we sit now?

Of course we can.  We have free will.  Those patterns and cycles are for our benefit.  But we can also step outside of them when we need to.  Or, we can create our own.

In returning to our regular rotation around the card altar, we’ve been validated by the daily draw; this, our illustrated portion of today’s message.

“The Fool  ~  0  ~  Major Arcana

Moment to moment, and with every step, the Fool leaves the past behind.  He carries nothing more than his purity, innocence, and trust, symbolized by the white rose in his hand.

The pattern of his waistcoat contains the colors of all four elements of the tarot, indicating that he is in harmony with all that surrounds him.  His intuition is functioning at its peak.

At this moment the Fool has the support of the universe to make this jump into the unknown.  Adventures await him in the river of life.

The card indicates that if you trust your intuition right now, your feeling of the ‘rightness’ of things, you cannot go wrong.  Your actions may appear ‘foolish’ to others, or even to yourself, if you try to analyze them with the rational mind.

But the ‘zero’ place occupied by the Fool is the numberless number where trust and innocence are the guides, not skepticism and past experience.”

is to say that I finally had this card enlarged.

go with the flow

It’s now 11 x 17 inches tall and wide, and on our wall.  It looks good that big, and I love seeing it every day as I enter the room.
