Of Great Value

We all know about receiving messages.  In our daily lives, as we move about our jobs, chores, errands, and mundane concerns.  They pop up.

When we notice them, they can be so comforting.  But if we ignore them, the messengers will keep trying.

One of the most wonderful parts of living a spiritual life is the realization that we aren’t going through any of this alone.  And those signs, those subtle symbols, they remind us.  They reach us.

Here’s what I heard today, amongst chaos and heartache and pain, this came through:

focus and forgive.

Maybe who needs forgiving right now is ourselves.  Maybe what we need to focus on is SelfCare.  Maybe, just maybe, this is a time to take a step back, and simply go within.

Even if it’s just our quick fix, the fast few moments we can grab between every other needy and distasteful demand on our time and our energy.  Probably, this message will keep coming up, until we listen.

As a form of validation, look at who (and what) has appeared on our card altar.

‘Focus on your highest priorities.  I will help you get organized and motivated.’

Additional Message:

‘What’s your calling?  What makes your heart sing?  When you focus on these areas, your joyful energy increases, which benefits everyone.

Take charge of your schedule, and spend more time on priorities and activities close to your heart.  Make choices which honor your priorities and support your life’s mission.’

Working with Archangel Metatron:

It’s What We Can’t Do Without

The most basic (and yet heart-wrenching) Truth of Life is loss.  The endings. They are brutal.

Of  course they all lead us into new chapters and hopeful beginnings.  But, the fact is, GOING completes the cycle.  Saying goodbye can be painful, on many levels.  It can also, if we focus our perspective, be enriching.

Here is what the Universe would like us to remember about living and leaving right now:

Before All Else

What this DOESN’T mean is to put anyone or anything before our own health and well-being.  What it DOES mean is, let’s make sure that we bring lovingkindness to the forefront, always.

Let’s not forget to replace fear with faith.  Let’s have Self-Care at the top of our daily To Do lists.  What it also means is to Choose Joy, practice gratitude, and generally wear that power of positivity into as many situations as we possibly can.

I can link to several songs right now, all of which have LOVE as the theme, but I’m fairly certain you have some personal favorites and can locate them quite easily.  Play them now, sing along, feel the strength in that energy.

On our card altar, this validation appears, as reinforcement.  (Please be extra aware of the last three words.  Repeat it as a mantra this week and you won’t go wrong.)

“Aquamarine  ~

moderation, energy, tolerance, gentleness, compassion, feminine, goddess

Whether male or female, you can overcome a current conflict by reflecting upon and applying moderation, tolerance, gentleness, and compassion.

These qualities are not a weakness, rather, they are strengths.  What is called for at present is greater compassion and tolerance coupled with a little patience and gentleness.

It is possible to resolve things in an amicable way to create a positive outcome for all concerned.

As you look back on this current episode, you will realise a valuable lesson.  Compassion and tolerance are a sign of maturity and strength of character.

They are qualities which infuse all with love and light.”

Be Here Now

If we stop only once a day and bring this image to mind, say the words and feel the power, we have given ourselves and our loved ones a gift in that moment; appreciate it, sit with it, honour it.  We’re worth that piece of time, we’re worth that space and that blessing.

Core Conscientiousness

At first glance, today’s message of Self-Care might sound like yet another lecture on an already overly-discussed hot-button topic.  But it’s not, I promise.

What I heard this afternoon has layers.  And there’s a depth to this one which needs some time and space to fully understand, to fully sink in.

This is what the Universe wants us to focus on right now:

Me Time

It doesn’t have to be a get-away spa weekend, although if that’s an option for you, absolutely don’t turn it down.

For many of us though, it’s more internal.  It’s more like spiritual pampering, soul-based special handling instructions.

Being true to how we are is beyond valuable.  Being honest with what works, and what just never, ever does, is an important lesson for seeing our genuine selves.

We are so many versions of the Me person; we wear so many hats.  It’s unfair to try and jam us into ready-made slots and ill-fitting categories, none of which will ever be the right size.

To be our true and sacred selves, to give ourselves the gift of Time, is to authentically honour the Divine spark inside of us all.  Allowing ourselves the individual freedom and peace (in the form of Self-Care, Me Time, spa weekend, or merely hiding in a bathroom), is as necessary for our soul as food is for our body.

And when you read about who came to visit on our card altar, keep in mind that doing for others begins at home, it must start with our Me self, and then ripple out.

high lord

“The High Lord of Gratitude and Service  ~  2

selflessness, humility, conscious action

The High Lord of Gratitude and Service has arrived to help you find your true purpose today.  Feeling gratitude for each moment you experience, and loving what is and what has been, will remind you that every breath you take holds a deep and profound awareness.

Through small actions and selfless service to another, you are automatically placed upon your highest path, whether you’re immediately aware of it or not.  The presence of this Ally lets you know that you are on the correct path to fulfilling your desire.

You’re also notified that your actions of service and attitude of gratitude will yield riches beyond your wildest dreams, as long as those riches aren’t the goal you have in mind.  Giving service with no thought of return is what’s required of you today.

This would also be a good time to write a list reminding yourself of all the things in your life and the world around you that you have to be grateful for.

If your question refers to a relationship, let gratitude be your guide.  Be thankful for all you learn from this person.  Truly, there are no friends and no enemies, just teachers along life’s journey.

Be grateful for the laughter and even for the tears.  The attitude of gratitude is a magnet for true love in all forms.”

is to say that this post totally would have been up about 3 hours earlier, had my ancient and decrepit laptop not decided it needed an auto-update, of which I did not request.

Seems all good to go now, though.  So, I’ll say thank you and be grateful.

Networking, on the highest level.

There are industries based and created on linking us with each other, and all the world.  Phones, internet, media, mail, every avenue of communication, old and new.

To say in touch, we have a bounty of choices.  But, what happens when one selection we depend on fails?  What happens when we have lost that connectivity, in a spiritual sense?

Where do we turn?  And, a bigger question, do we need to go outside of ourselves at all?

Yes, actually it is in our best interest to reach out.  Not right away maybe, but none of us can exist entirely without some sort of linking to others.

That’s what the Universe would like to remind us.  The reason we stay bound, one to the other, is that we are, on a soul level, all One.

We have our tribe, our Team, our partners, our clan, our co-workers, our neighbors, our community, our friends and family.  We need never be left alone.    (Unless, we want to, and that’s also a valid choice.)

What the most important part to remember is, we’ve always been connected!  We were never apart from those who care.  We were created as a whole and unified body of wonderfulness and hope.

We continue to be together, and supported, and One.  It’s just that sometimes, we feel cut off.  Or adrift.  It’s all an illusion, though, that severing.

We truly DO have enough support.  And enough of everything to get us through whatever lesson we were optimistic enough to chart for ourselves.

To go along with hope and guidance, we also have this draw on our card altar.  We are strong enough!

“Courage  ~

Take the leap.

Your courage will see you through.”

And, you are never doing it alone.  Don’t forget that.  (It’s a lesson for us all.)

“The quieter you become,

the more you can hear.”

Ram Daas

Quiet, and strong.  We can do this.  I know we can.

Conscientiously Present

Over our time together here, we’ve received thematic messages, as well as repeated ones.  And we know that whatever type show up, they are all relevant.

What I’ve been hearing the past few days (along with a place name, which I still haven’t figured out yet), could possibly be filed under both categories mentioned.

This is the first part of it:

Which I believe is saying that we are supposed to notice and practice our Acceptance lessons.  (Focus on what we DO have, not what you DON’T.)

Personal example time.  I (might!) have a tendency to complain about how much I dislike our house.  Well, hello?!  I have a fucking house!

It’s a fine dwelling.  It’s roomy, and all of my crap is in it.  Key component here?  To turn that bitching around.  Show some gratitude for all that this gift brings.

End result: I am not homeless.  And neither are my belongings (of which, I have many).

             But then, there’s more.

This is about the entirety of Mindfulness.  Even as I’m immersed in (bombarded by!) this new job-training, I am making the effort to stop, to breathe, to find a Quiet Moment.

Being present can be accomplished with a tiny bit of work, also it’s beyond simple.  Everyone can do it.  It’s free.  And, more importantly, it’s good for us.

The thing is, we forget.  So, here is our reminder.  Arriving at the perfect time.

Not at all coincidentally, I was directed to this stack.  Validation.  Always nice.

“Silence  ~

Rest your mind.

Silence is good self-care.”

We can, and should, find those quiet spots.  Like enough sleep, it’s for our own good.  And when we are good, so are those who care about us.
