How Dynamic We Are

As you may know, I have a “day” job.  One of my tasks, pretty much on an hourly basis (if not more often), is giving my opinion.

Travelers ask what I think.  They ask about the campus.  They ask about local sights and events.  They ask me, and this is the number one question, where I think they should eat dinner.

I have two quick answers.  Because: distance from our hotel, and quality.  Generally the people asking me this question have high expectations.

I don’t let them down.  I deliver.  And that’s because these two restaurants, which I always recommend, never let ME down.

Our message today has to do with tuning in to, and following along with, those instincts we’re all born with.  It’s about being ourselves, our sacred selves.

The Universe would like to remind us that we are powerful beings.  We have strength.  We have compassion.  We have an inner knowing.  We have

 Spiritual Fortitude

To honour the fact that we all come from Source, and will return back to Source, we need to remember our Divine Value.  When I make those recommendations, I am confident. I know the food and service will be remarkable, in a good and healing way.  The experience with be positive.

In other aspects of my life?  I falter.  I fall down.  I waver.  I fail.  I am flawed.  But in the areas where I know?  I stand strong.  I am bold.

This encourages me.  It helps me to help those who ask for my assistance, or my guidance.  Or, my recommendations.

The perfect validation has appeared on our (still incomplete) card altar.  Sadly, the guidebook went missing in this move.  So, I’m going to take my own advice and type out what comes through me, with confidence and strength of knowing.

sacred selves

“Life Review

Archangel Jeremiel:

‘Take inventory of your life, and resolve to change or heal anything that is unbalanced.’ “

It can be simple.  We make it more complicated.  Where there is negativity, remove it.  Where there is unhappiness, let the sorrow go.  Where we find ourselves uncomfortable, move on.

It might be a VERY difficult choice.  But when we look back, do we WANT to say we spent all of that time suffering?  Or do we want to enjoy all the moments that we can?

is to say that I know you’re curious.  Here are the two restaurants,

Cafe Soriah and Davis.  Both names, clickable links to their websites.

Last night, I was treated to a gorgeous meal at Soriah, made (specifically for me!) by the owner and executive chef himself.  It was so amazing, I cried.  He was beyond kind and generous; the food and service  were extraordinary.

Yesterday I spent a significant amount of my day with an 8-year-old. She is not related to me by genetics, but her parents and siblings have become like family.

Again the Universe is telling us it’s time to revisit the conversation around that concept of: it takes a village.  And how without support, well.  Everything is just that much more challenging.

             Here’s what I’m hearing ……

Who makes up our closest, our near-and-dear, our most loved individuals?  Whoever they are, they’re never all related to us by blood, by DNA.

Often, our core group is a gathering of like-minded souls, with some genuine relatives mixed in.  It matters not one bit what this ratio of the blend is, nor really, what the numbers even are.

The important and valuable part?  That we take care of our clan, that we hold them close and back them up.  That we love them, unconditionally, and we are there to support them.

Because we know, they’ll be there for us.  One of the best ways to make sure we’re recharged and can help family when called upon is to take care of ourselves.

On what is taking the place of my card altar right now (see phone pic below), we are being validated in that very sentiment.  We MUST practice Self Care, and then, we can be of use to those we love.

oracle and tarot and angel cards

Most of the cards, but (almost) none of the treasures.

For the first time in the five weeks since we’ve been handed the keys to this place, I got to be in the house, and get shit done.  It’s been nice.  And soon, I’m sure, it will (finally) feel like home.

(Camera battery recharging cord, still lost.  The replacement device my Beloved ordered for me seems to not be working.)

Ever Encouraging

Much like yesterday, right now we’re talking Compassion.  What’s different this time, is that we need to be outwardly observant, and know where to apply it.

It’s not always about us.  Sometimes we are reminded that the focus is afar, the aim is beyond.  We are being asked to see with our loving/non-judgmental soul eyes.

To support those we care about is to help ourselves, and beyond that, the entire planet.  Because remember, as we help, so we are helped.

However, as our messenger from the daily draw reminds us, helping each other, and ourselves, sometimes means just quietly figuring it out on our own.

“Panda  ~

‘Enjoy the sanctuary of solitude to regain self-esteem and tranquility.’

Self-contained and content in her serried banks of bamboo, tranquil Panda relaxes in her world of plenty and ease, dependent upon none.

Sometimes we become too wrapped up in others, dependent upon their approval, and wither inside should they withhold it.

Wise Panda counsels that time spent in a peaceful, established sanctuary, retreating far away from your daily life, both physically and mentally, will fortify your spirit and allow your true self, not someone else’s image of you, to flourish.”

is THIS view from Madalynn’s Instagram page.  My mother might not understand #wcw but she sure will know that her grand-daughters respect her and see her value.  Which, ya know, is really all any of us need.

Acceptance Offering

Have you ever been awakened by your own laughter?  It’s an odd sensation.  This morning’s messages didn’t quite cause me to LaughOutLoud, but they did cause me to start my day with a smile.

All of us have been in a work environment where the limits of our particular position were pushed to the edge, and over.  We were hired for a specific purpose, but then ended up doing more.

When done for the right reasons, this is admirable.  Sometimes though, it’s just not getting paid or recognized.  Perhaps worse if we COULD have helped, and didn’t?

The point of this message is somewhere in between.  But on a spiritual plane, while still involving this physical world we’re currently inhabiting.

Even if it’s “not my job,” we still need to lend a hand occasionally.

Do more.

Go beyond.

Which means to step away from what is comfortable, and stand beside someone who needs our assistance.  Someone who is having a difficult time, can use our help right now.

Our “job” or not, the scenes I was shown clearly indicated that we could totally do this.  We’d be divinely guided and have our own help, as we become the helper.

This has not one thing to do with getting reimbursed financially, so let’s not even allow our minds to go there.  If you see Karma as a balancing mechanism, apply that.

For me, it’ll simply be placing my feet next to someone else’s on the line, standing next to a person who can use my help.  How will we know?  The stack we came around to, on our card altar, might be able to show us.

charoite, crystal healing, oracle cards

 “Charoite  ~

acceptance, generosity, clarity, inner vision

Charoite is a highly spiritual crystal that helps awaken higher wisdom.  You are being asked to accept the current events and bring  your focus within.

All will become clear through meditation.  This is a time for reflection and contemplation, a time to allow your inner wisdom to guide you.

You will realise that there is nothing you need to change and that all is as it should be.  Trust!

Even though the current flow of events are confusing, there is a divine order to the madness.  It is only through love and acceptance that the divine order can be seen.

You will be touched by someone’s generosity in the next few days.”
