Thank you for the get-well wishes. I’ve never had extensive surgery inside my mouth before, so I didn’t really know what to expect for back-on-my-feet time. (It’s been slower than I’d thought.)
I am an excellent “rester” and do couch-riding like it’s my profession. But being forced into recuperation (due to not feeling good), well that isn’t as great. Today’s dose however, did bring us our message.
In Aid Of
When we are feeling at our lowest, the best way to bring about healing is to ask, “how may I serve?” For when we assist others, we are always better for the doing of it.
Right now we’re being reminded of this anew. How may I be of help? How may I aid another. How may my deeds bring about the health or happiness of someone in need?
Asking these questions is only half of the equation, though. We then must listen for an answer. In prayer, or meditation; in walking or yoga; alone or with others, the ways in which we may lend aid, will arrive.
And here, on our card altar, is that validation. Even if you use different words, the answer is the same.
“Accept Heaven’s Help ~
‘You’ve prayed for help, so get out of the way and let Heaven help you.’
You have asked, ‘what should I do next?’ This card responds:
‘trust that your prayers have been heard and answered. Simply rest and retreat for now. After all, you prayed for Divine intervention, so step aside and let Heaven intervene, as this is the help you asked for.’
You can assist the process initiated by your prayers through quiet contemplation. Ask the Universe to give you very clear, easily understandable guidance, letting you know if you need to take any action.
In the meantime, enjoy knowing that your angels and guides surround you and your situation with loving care.”

Tracy Chevalier is one of those. I’ve read everything she’s ever published. And I’ve never come away unsatisfied.
