(Have you noticed a wee bit of theme developing here lately?  It’s subtle, and took me a minute to figure it out.  But, it’s there.)

When we take the time, make the effort, we can see and understand how truly fortunate we are.  We just have to set aside the attitude of need and difficulty.  It’s not easy, but it’s also not complicated.

Here is precisely what I woke up with today:

Enjoyable Enjoyment

So much of our learning has to do with mindfulness, and being in the current moment, appreciating what we have before us.  Dwelling in that mindset of lovingkindness.  It’s not about putting on rose-colored glasses, the opposite, in fact.

Honestly seeing that we are surrounded by blessings, as opposed to picking out all of the problems and supposed horrors, is the way in which we heal and evolve and move forward.  (Yes, there ARE terrible things happening, we absolutely are not ignoring those.)

I have a note on my upstairs desk, it says, CHOOSE JOY  –  I point my eyes at it every single day.  And I repeat the words outloud.  (Sometimes more than once, and some days, more forcefully than others.)

When we make the decision to notice more good than bad, we are surrounded by more good than bad.  And then, we can share it.

Just as we are being gifted with the validating and supportive message of our daily draw.

“Blessings of Abundance   ~   Guardian Angel

Your prayers have been heard and answered.  Your daily bread and other needs are being provided for, now and in the future.   Give your fears and worries to the Universe and all the angels, and have faith that they are taking care of you and your loved ones.

Let go of worrying about how your needs will be met, because (Mr and Mrs) God’s infinite creative wisdom will take care of the details.  Be open to receiving gifts and help from people, as this is one way in which the Divine answers your prayers.

Blessings of abundance are supplied to you in all ways……..”

  1. I’m having trouble finding joy as I sit here sick. Thanks go to Spider Bait for bringing germs home for Easter. And Why? did I think a puppy was a good idea? He’s confused, of course, by my lack of oomph. Oh, to have the energy of youth. Anyway, I went to put the music on that you supplied and apparently it hurts Ryder’s ears. It made him cry. *shakes head* Ah, well…

    1. My animals (both my cats and my friend’s dogs) like the tuba, accordion and piano while they hate the recorder. Cat jury is still out on the trumpet. I have noted my friend’s cats don’t mind our tuba quartet rehearsals or our small, eclectic group (tuba, bassoon, flute and accordion) playing. All juries are out on the ukulele, but that might be the singing that I bring to the table.

  2. Choose joy indeed. It is all about perspective, isn’t it? I am predisposed to “the sunny side of the street” (referred to by some as the “Pollyanna” approach) and have been my whole life. I feel like, for the most part, joy has chosen me. During those times when all isn’t well, it is a good reminder that there is choice in everything.

I forgot to mention: colored money is cool. We brought back 30 pounds (can’t make the scripty L for pounds) from Scotland, and each is a different color combo. Way cool.
