As you know (or maybe you don’t), I write these posts in the evening. Many of you read them the next day. Because of that, my “holiday” mentions tend to seem late. For me, they aren’t.
Tomorrow is the Vernal Equinox, as I sit typing on a Thursday night. What’s funny (in a strange and bizarre way) is how the Universe bends time to fit us. No matter where or who we are.
Today’s message is about the equaling balance of all……
the good and the bad.
And how we need one to understand the other. It also really means that even the worst nightmares (metaphorically and otherwise), all come to an end.
As the sun and moon and all other orbs and planets cycle and circle, so too, do we. We have seasons. We have rough patches. We have most excellent and beautiful moments of glory.
What we don’t always have is the appreciation of every angle. And we need that. We truly must accept the ups, downs, and mediocres. It’s part of our journey, part of our world.
Back within our regular rotation around the card altar, we’ve been handed an additional gift of perspective and inspiration.
“Water Buffalo ~
‘Face life head-on with courage and reclaim the brave spirit within you.’
Water Buffalo swims placidly through India’s sacred waters, cooling her comfortable rich brown body and languidly wallowing in thick mud. But her pacific, maternal exterior belies a wild, tempestuous nature: she faces life head-on and on great crescent horns tosses enemies determinedly behind her.
Tragedy and failure are intrinsic to living but sometimes we are cowed by events, unable to move forward. Mighty Buffalo is the brave spirit within your soul waiting to be reclaimed.
Take your courage in both hands and dare to be.”
