Our post title is also the name of a book.  One I’ve been meaning to read for ages, but just now got a chance to crack the cover.  Although….. “reading” might not be the best word to use.

This is the type of information that needs to be digested slowly, and shared.  Deargawd, it screams out to be shared.

It also goes along perfectly with today’s message and draw.  Perfectly!

Basic Happiness

Here’s what I found earlier, “the creations of our life must be grounded in our hearts.”  See?  That’s the kind of depth I’m coming across right now.

And one more, “out of love, our path can lead us to learn to use our gifts to heal and serve, to create peace around us, to honor the sacred in life, to bless whatever we encounter, and to wish all beings well.”

Part of the very foundation of our journey is to help, and to heal.  Beginning with ourselves, and rippling outward.  We start with the “blessings of joys and sorrows” in this life, and build from there.

When we live with that attitude of accepting our gifts, we can better recognize the very essence of who we are.  And what we can do with that knowledge.

I was directed to leave our regular rotation around the card altar, so that we could receive this reminder.  To be on the Path With Heart, is also to be empowered.

“Strength  ~

Strength is nothing more than enduring life – to be able to survive the agonies as well as the triumphs we go through with our heads held high.

Sometimes just walking through adversity to get to the other side is a sign of strength.”

  1. Liked today’s message. And a timely reminder to remain calm and ‘peaceful’. 🙂 We were going to get snow last night and we did. But I didn’t know they changed the forecast and went into town for money and groceries yesterday. Which meant I was out with all the crazies who think the world will end with 3 inches of snow. We call it the toilet paper and milk run. I got to the grocery store and saw the parking lot full to the gills and people fighting over parking spots and pushing and shoving and I wanted to drop a house on any number of people. Saints preserve us! It snows all winter every damn year here people! Ommmm…. Deep breath… “May I be peaceful and at ease.” 😀
