As you know, here in The Burrow, we are big fans of Project Runway.  One of the reasons that I like the show is because of the raw, abundant, phenomenal talent and skills those designers have.  It’s breathtaking.

Also, I am so far from fashionably knowledgeable that we can’t help but learn when we watch.  (Of course, the fashion “industry” is appallingly backwards and crippling when it comes to body-image issues and healthy perspectives on all types [and sizes] of people.  We know this, accept it as a sad fact, and then have to move past it.)

What I was shown this morning has everything to do with god-given gifts of art and vision, and nothing to do with the unfair, unbalanced, misogynistic, bigoted business angle of it all.

The very foundation of our perception tends to colour our view of what’s attractive and what is repellent.  We all begin with our singular focus, our individual eye.  Where we take that is up to us.

When we build on the beauty around us (the art we find in nature, the loving soul of humanity), we are creating a structured form with an inner heart.  We have that opportunity, every time we allow our honest-selves to see with lovingkindness and move forward on our path, adding depth and beauty to our adventure.

An additional aid in this lesson, is what we’re being gifted with on our card altar, in the form of our daily draw.

(And how healing is this palette in today’s illustration?!)

“Relationship Harmony  ~

Archangel Raguel:

‘We angels are opening the hearts of everyone involved.  Arguments and conflicts are being resolved right now.’

Additional Message:

‘Your prayers for personal peace have been answered, and you are to be commended for your role in ushering peace into this situation.

Visualize everyone involved (including yourself) being cooperative and open-minded, even if particular persons aren’t usually this way.  Trust the inner guidance you receive, and know that changes are sometime uncomfortable but often necessary.

Ask me to help with any aspects of relationships that need healing.  Know that all relationships ultimately have blessings, growth lessons, and love at their core, even if appearances seem otherwise.

Stay focused upon this truth as much as possible.’

Working with Archangel Raguel:

His principal role is to create harmony and order in relationships.  He has the power to resolve disputes, and is often referred to as ‘The Archangel of Justice and Fairness.’  If you find yourself in a  disagreement, ask Raguel to act as mediator.  He’ll come up with a creative resolution in which everyone wins.”

  1. The Mrs. and I were driving the other evening, and she said “wow, what a sky!” I replied with the things that I had noticed about the sky, and in complete agreement with the “wow”. She looked over at me and said “I just love that we find beauty in the same things.” Our taste in art, landscape and most visual things is probably 95% aligned. I like almost all of her music, she likes about 75% of mine (doesn’t like nearly as much classical, any country, or any hard rock) the latter two occupying about 5% total of my iPod play lists. I think that is a fabulous definition of harmony.

Our guilty pleasure is on the real estate shows that feature remodels, or on the back yard makeover shows…

    Back yard makeovers?!
