There’s a duality to everything in our world, an order, in which it all works.  That’s part of our greater balance.  And what I saw this morning.  Very yin and yang.

We all have choices, even if the options don’t seem very appealing sometimes.  The reality is that we can make bad into good, because it already is.

One feeling will have the same “weight” (spiritually speaking) as another, if our emotions are engaged passionately.  Just like one person is as valuable as any other person, none of us is better than another.

When we know how important each of us are, and how much our journey means (again, in a spiritual sense), we are more capable of seeing our lessons for what they are: full of joy/full of sorrow, full of ups/full of downs.

There has to be an equalness, and a balance, in our appreciation for all gifts, and all parts of the wisdom we receive.

Back within our regular rotation around the card altar today, we’ve been given a really helpful (and validating) illustration, taking our point one step further.  Not only is all balanced and complete, but WE are part of creating that wholeness.

“Participation  ~  4  ~  Fire: Action

Each figure in this mandala holds their right hand up, in an attitude of receiving, and the left hand down, in an attitude of giving.  The whole circle creates a tremendous energy field that takes on the shape of a double dorje, the Tibetan symbol for the thunderbolts.

The mandala has a quality like that of the energy field which forms around the buddha, where all the individuals taking part in the circle make a unique contribution to create a unified and vital whole.  It is like a flower, whose wholeness is even more beautiful than the sum of its parts, at the same time enhancing the beauty of each individual petal.

You have an opportunity to participate with others now to make your contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than each of you could manage alone.

Your participation will not only nourish you, but will also contribute something precious to the whole.”

  1. Wow. I’m gone for a few days and everything goes nuts. 😀

We had internet AND computer issues, so when this page started loading I started growling at the supposedly fixed computer. But it was YOU not the computer. Which, of course, was a relief. I don’t need more problems here! Not that you were the problem, just that I didn’t realize at first that you had put up your new look. The tiny font, on my computer at least, really looks a lot like the script that comes up when the computer is about to tell me I’m screwed. So there was a brief moment of panic. From which I have recovered nicely. 🙂

I have, of course, gotten myself caught up. Question, in the card photo it appears the right hand is palm down and the left palm up. In the script it says right hand up left hand down. ??? Shouldn’t it be the other way around or is this a west vs. east way of thinking?

Since I did not create these cards, I couldn’t even begin to speculate.
