When we work towards the principle of Acceptance, we are allowing our progress to flow at its own natural pace.  This is great.

But, what happens when a roadblock pops up?  Or an unexpected life event changes our course?  We have to keep that attitude of gratitude, pulling ourselves back in to balance.

Sometimes that’s not too difficult, sometimes it feels like a huge struggle.

Going beyond,

into Tolerance.

Are we putting up with everything that “attacks” us?  No.  Are we enduring as much as we can?  Probably.  In order to maintain our zen serenity though, we will need to let quite a bit roll away.

Release is becoming more important than ever right now.  This is the message I’m hearing, loud and decidedly clear.

One way to get us back on track, returned to our Acceptance mind-set, is to distract (and entertain) that monkey-mind.  And how terrific is it that we’ve been handed an excellent suggestion, in the form of our daily draw.

“Play Music  ~  St Cecilia

This is a message for you to play more music, because it will help you find the answers and solutions that you’re seeking . . . .

This card also asks you to ensure that music is continually playing around you at home and at work.  Strive to listen to uplifting tunes, as you’re sensitive to the words and melodies.  You are also asked to sing in order to express the music that’s within you – you can do this alone for your own expression or for others.

St Cecilia is the patron saint of music, singers, and musicians . . . . “

is to say that the face of this website will soon be changing.  If there’s anything you think you might need to grab off of it, now’s the time.  I don’t know when exactly the update will be, but it is coming.

  1. Yeah, I’m in the middle of a financial “roadblock” at the moment. My head is going to explode.

ACK! Changes!? Grab stuff off of here!? ACK!

    Deep breathing, it’s fine.
No one will die from any of it.

  2. you’ll be keeping all your old posts, right? just changing the look?? “Release is becoming more important to me than ever” — yes, me too. Right there with ya, Julie.

Almost nothing is going away. It will just look different, with a static “front” page. The daily musings and messages will be under a tab, like the other ones that have run across the top all along. I’m not sure how to save the blog rolls yet, so I’m prepared in case those are lost.

  3. Hmm, change. Guess I can deal with it. I am dealing with my first world problem of the malware on my pc laptop now by stumbling about on a Mac which isn’t really intuitive at all.

And there is music, lots of music. Upcoming concert in Junction City at 3:30 at Saint Helen Catholic Church, if you’re able.
