I woke up today knowing that our message would be encouraging.  Then, as my “morning” progressed, that attitude was well and truly validated.

Our focus is all about the perception (again!) and a generous concept of Sacred Space.  Where do we go to Recharge?  To Replenish?  To Reconnect with our Power Source?

As in yesterday’s reminder, we return to True North, the Universe’s own version of strength from within.

That’s the key right now.  That magnetic pull we all feel when our tanks are on Empty.

Seeking Safety

Would we like a big and beautifully plush (all expenses paid) trip to a tropical retreat?  Oh, hell yeah!  Can we get a similar sort of spiritual experience from taking a few quiet moments at home?  Probably.

Either way, the important bit to keep in mind is that we make the effort.  We take the time.  We step off of the treadmill-to-nowhere and we rejoin our power, our Universal connection, we plug in to the energy that will propel us forward.

The card I was directed to, for our daily draw, is a perfect endorsement.  (Also, this is one of my all-time fave illustrations of a kick-ass archangel.)

“Courage  ~

Archangel Ariel:

‘Be courageous, and stand up for your beliefs’

Additional Message:

‘In this situation, you need to act upon your convictions, even if others disagree.  I’m protecting you from harm, and guiding you to be a loving warrior of light.

As you stand up for your beliefs, you are a role model for others.  This is an important form of spiritual teaching, in which your example gives others courage to also stand up for their own principles.’

Working with Archangel Ariel:

Ariel’s name means ‘Lioness of (Mr and Mrs) God,’ and she reflects these qualities, including bravery, courage, focus, and elegant movements.  If you notice images of lions or lionesses, this signals that Ariel is with you.  Call upon her to boost your confidence and courage.”

is what I’m listening to right now.  THIS is my power source, especially when I know it’s been too long since I’ve been there.

  1. Funny how sometimes your posts just plop themselves down into my life. Life has been less than fun here for awhile and I got away from doing for me. Again. This is one of the things I do battle with regularly. My daughter got after me the other day over Skype (I’m also not exercising, that always gets shoved to the bottom of the to-do list). Anyway, this weekend I washed all my card bags and mat and sat down with my various decks and slowly put them all in order taking the time to just look at the pictures and try to keep my head clear of thoughts. Just ‘reset’ everything. And then I got up this “morning” 🙂 and here’s your post reminding me of sacred spaces. “Plop!”

Looking at pictures for sacred spaces really pulled at me. I had a nice little spot set up on my end table at one point. It’s currently buried under crap. I think I need to do some excavating.

And I loved your ocean sounds. Thanks so much for that link. I need to see if I can hook up this laptop to the tv speakers so I can hear it through the house. The speakers on this laptop suck. I think Spider Bait had a cable that went to one of the boxes that plays dvd’s. I hope he didn’t take it to college!

There are nature sounds that I love, and those that I absolutely do NOT.
    Oceans: yes.
    Forests: no.
