Not everyone is good at following the rules.  I’m one of those.  So probably that’s why my lessons are still so difficult to get through.

This morning’s message was a reminder to individuals like me, that there’s things we can change and control, and there’s things we simply can not.

Nature’s Patterning

Whether we like a season or despise it, it’s there.  Then, three to four months later, another one rolls around.  The old one is now gone.  For a year.

Whether we go places on our weekends or not, they end and they come back around again.  Time.  It’s just what it is.

We adapt and accept, or we fight and struggle.  Neither changes the Laws of Nature.  But doing it the “easy” way causes us less stress.  We have choices.  And we have chosen this route we’re currently on.

There’s a concept that some folks have about how everything is completely random and that we are merely pawns on a board.  My Virgo mind rejects their idea, harshly.  Partly because I’ve seen and felt the order and partly because that’s just too mean and senseless a way to run something as massive and complicated as our Universe.

There is a pattern.  There is structure.  It’s up to us how we want to live in it.

On our card altar today, continuing within the regular rotation, a guide has appeared.  He’s here to give us aid, to lend assistance in seeing where we’re going, and how we can get there, in a sacred way.

“The Eagle King  ~  12  ~

the big picture, angelic help

The Eagle King is a sign that your highest destiny is within reach.  You are on the right path now, even if you can’t see where you’re going.

The Eagle King soars high above the mountains and valleys of life and is able to see the big picture when you seem to be lost in a bit of a fog.  He makes a formidable Ally as he takes your prayers up toward the sun and releases them to the Divine.  They will be answered for the highest good of all.

It is a fortunate omen when the Eagle King decides to be your Ally.”

Even though this one flipped direct, it felt like we needed to see both sides.  So, here’s the reversed description.

The Eagle King challenges you to see a higher purpose to events.  Not everything is meant to come to pass according to your specifications.  If you can’t see the forest for the trees, stand back for a while and let the Eagle King fly high on your behalf.

Perhaps it’s time to speak to someone who has objectivity and an ability to see the bigger picture where you don’t.  Just remember that even when things don’t go the way you expect, there’s always a reason for the detour.”

A second life for CELERY!
A second life for CELERY!

I heard about how you could re-grow the center stalk on some website (which is now alluding me).  The one pictured here is now in a pot with good dirt, on the back deck, while another sits in the windowsill, starting to sprout.  How big will they get?  I have no idea.  But I’ll keep you posted.

      1. As long as the center isn’t dead and it doesn’t bolt, you should be able to. Google ‘regrowing your groceries’. It has some reasonable options and some eye-rolling things. I’m not going to grow an avocado tree in my house! 🙂
