Subtlety

For the first time, but probably not the last, our message cannot sufficiently be conveyed by mere words alone.  It is a multi-dimensional reminder.

Just as some parts of our lives must be lived in order to appreciate their depth and emotion, this particular item must be seen, as well as heard.

(I’m a fan of percussion, just as a general rule.  So when I understood what we needed to pay attention to today, I was extremely pleased.)

(Ignore the part where it says “drum kit” – this was the best/shortest clip I could find.  If you know of a better one, put it in the comments and I’ll switch.)

I’m far from a musical expert, but I know enough about this bent piece of metal to understand how it’s contribution can be über beneficial.  Just that one tiny **ding** or that continuous melody of chimes, can bring forth precisely the tone and feeling a composer requires to make her/his point.

And that is why we need to keep tiny additions in mind right now.  Need to see how valuable something (seemingly minor) like this is, to our lives, and to our journey.  Adding JUST the right emphasis, makes all the difference.

On our card altar, stepping away from the regular rotation briefly, we’ve been handed a beautiful gift.

“Rescue  ~  16  ~

‘You are always safe and secure, and free to be yourself.’

Asking for help isn’t easy for many successful people.  However, that’s what you need to do now as you expand your life.  If you find yourself troubled, you can expect help with whatever issue is at hand now.

You need only ask, and assistance will come your way.

The most important support you can expect is from Spirit.  Get into a right relationship with the Divine and you will see that many conditions line up as if by magic to provide you with all the help you need.

Ask and you will receive.  There is no need to fear.  Safety is a place within.”

  1. I’ve never seen the “Enchanted Map Oracle Cards”–are they new, or was I not paying attention before? It’s lovely. 🙂

Early spring? I picked up both the book and deck, hoping to finish reading before I added it in, but that hasn’t worked out. So sometimes the cards call out and they turn up here. 😉

  2. Have you ever watched a triangle player in a symphonic orchestra/band? They stand, usually in the middle of the percussion section, holding the triangle at shoulder height, and are very intent on their precise entrance. It is almost comical, until you have experienced a triangle that is late, or early, or absent, and realize that there is no fudging the beat; that note must be precise.

Good reminder card today, too. And hope Hanna has a great time in LaLa Land.

    In fact, I actually HAVE!
And yes, the timing is everything.
