Road Report: First

We are in a hotel.  Oh, how I do so love these accommodations.  ANY accommodations!  With extras or not, lush or sparse, don’t even care.  Just the fact that it’s a great big clean room, somewhere else.

We’ve just begun this journey, and that can be so much fun.  I’m wondering if we may have a theme this time.  Hard to say, I’m merely the radio.  But I’ll let you know the minute I hear.

What I do know though, is that I’ve been working very hard on not taking any stress or negativity with me.  Here is the affirmation I’m being directed to share, as we spiral ever upwards:

“I am glad to be alive and so grateful for the good that has come my way.”

And doesn’t it go beautifully with the daily draw?  True, so true.

fairie messages, laughter, oracle cards

“Laughter  ~

‘Every cloud not only has a silver lining, but it also has a humorous side.  Try to objectively stand back from your situation and find a humorous twist.

Laughter will help you see your life from a new perspective so that you can receive creative insights and solutions.’

You are much too serious about life right now, according to the fairies.  They aren’t asking you to neglect your responsibilities, let go of the sacred reverence for life, or defend your emotions with jokes.  Instead, you are asked to see the humor that runs through the thread of life.  Like a brilliant comedy, our lives become more enjoyable when we can see them through the eyes of a humorist.

Laughter helps us to stand back and see ourselves and our situations more objectively.  When we laugh, we relax.  And when we relax, creative solutions and renewed energy course through us more easily.

So, take time today to laugh.

Affirmation:

I find the humor in life, and I laugh easily.”

Travel Notes:

this will be the only time during our trip that we won’t be staying over with family.  Between the two of us, Dan and I have lots of generous and loving relatives.

  1. Dare I play devil’s advocate and ask what got left behind in the last minute rush this time? 😀

Have loads of fun on your trip. Will there be beach time? If so, you must take pictures and share! 🙂

  2. I love hotels, too! What’ not to love– clean and fresh and somebody else cleans up for you??? Nice message today, and the one from yesterday exactly confirmed with a message I’ve been receiving myself. I’ve missed you! We’re headed out camping this weekend and then I hope finally next week things will get back to normal.
