Here’s what I heard this morning, “take a Quick Moment today and just look around. See your surroundings as if for the first time. Observe what you’re wearing. Really gaze at who and what you are.”
Our message is about acknowledging. Acknowledging ourselves. Being proud of your rough edges and our soft turnings, our history and our emotions.
We know that our interests, hobbies, and choices come from a combination of where and who we’ve been, so this is the moment to honor that past, to be grateful for where the journey has brought us thus far.
Some parts and some lives were easier than others. Of course, some have been more challenging. That’s what adventures are all about, the excitement and growth of not just surviving, but thriving and learning.
On our card altar right now, the daily draw is a brilliant validation, illustrated in a lovely and appealing way.
Trust your decisions.
March to the beat of your own heart.”
This is such an ideal and concise summation. When we hear that sound, the melody of our soul, we know then how to be our true selves.
Self-Care Cards by Cheryl Richardson
includes some anomalies, like that very unusual one we saw with a strange configuration of letters and numbers and letters again (which we still haven’t been able to figure out or find), a new (and really pretty) example from Alabama, a single standard Vermont, Minnesota (times 3!), and someone who may have been from Texas (not sure, but there were a helluvalotta stars ‘n stripes visible and not much else).
