One of the traps many of us fall in to is the belief that “here we are” is all there is.  That, when we’re in a situation (or a way of life) we have to stay there.

This couldn’t be farther from the truth.  We can (and really, should) do as much as we like.  Go as far as our heart takes us.

Consider what was previously thought impossible.

The Universe is such a vast and amazing place, there truly are miracles waiting to happen.  To us.

As yesterday’s daily draw told us, “dream it” to make that our reality, so too does the card today validate this message.

(This is one of my favorite illustrations, in a deck full of wonderful images.)

oracle cards, mermaid messages, treasure chest, dream it then be it

“Treasure Chest  ~

‘An unforeseen windfall of new abundance come to you now!’

Your prayers for financial support have been heard, and assistance is here for you now.  It comes in wonderfully unexpected ways.

Remain in a state of gratitude that says that the money is already here, even if there’s no visible evidence of it yet.  When you feel grateful before the demonstration of supply occurs, it reveals your faith.

And your faith is the energy that draws riches to you without delay.  Affirm frequently: ‘thank you for all of the support, supply, abundance, and money that you bring to me.  I am grateful for these riches, which I use in Divine ways to bring blessings to the earth.’

Your supply may show up in the form of money, or it may come as new opportunities, brilliant ideas, or gifts from others.  Bless and honor Heaven’s gifts however they come to you.

Your gratitude ensures continual, overflowing abundance in your life.”

because we’re still in a heatwave.   The Hovel has no air conditioning.

Mid-afternoon, I went outside.    We risked a Hot Walk, before Dan left for work.  I didn’t bring my camera or phone.  Did I mention the debilitating heat?

(I had planned on showing you our route, but the mapping app misbehaved, and got it wrong.  Leaving out a big chunk in the middle.  Also, it refuses to acknowledge this part of town correctly.)

  1. Block of ice, dishpan and fan. Do that Tuesday; you’ll be glad you did. As an alternative, hang out at the library…

Great illustration and message on that card.

If I have to go get ice on my bike, that may defeat the purpose…….
on the other hand, I could just freeze home-water!

  2. Poor Baby! Heat waves suck. Ours is on the way out. Evidently some polar air is coming our way. Didn’t see the map (I was just listening) so I don’t know if you’re going to get any. Will keep happy thoughts for you to get some too!

Can you stand spritzing yourself with water? Doing that and stepping in front of the fan is a wonderful thing. Especially if you keep your spray bottle in the fridge (I can’t do the cold water thing, but the kids love it).

I do not love being spritzed, no. But I should put some alcohol in the fridge; when you add that to a wet cloth, it’s pretty helpful.

  3. Those are some good ideas, I may try them all (we are also having a heatwave). I will work on considering the impossible, because I could use a little of that right now. 🙂 Hope it cools off both there and here soon –although according to the weather map there is no relief in sight, darn it.

It was unexpectedly cooler today. Maybe you’ll get one of those days, too! (Love when the weather-guessers are wrong at moments like this.)
