There is a theory, that when we dream about houses they represent people. Sometimes I find that is true. But the building I was shown earlier today, as I was waking up and no longer dreaming, had a deeper meaning. Also, farther reaching.
One at a time.
When my children were all about preschool age, we learned of the “one sock” method of kid chores. (Not that any of us did much cleaning……..)
The idea is that before we get overwhelmed by the enormity of a task, break it down. Begin with one sock. Then another sock.
Focus on just those socks. Then, move on to shoes. After that, clothing. Which leads up to books, or any other category, until the area you’ve agreed upon is as done as it needs to be at that moment.
The massive home which became our metaphor this morning had closets, and cupboards, and attics, and rooms-beyond-rooms, plus so much more. All of it giving the feeling of being layered, in need of repair, rehabilitation, rescue.
On the other hand, there were parts which simply had nothing to do with us. They were horrible to look at, but they weren’t our problem.
The message there? Easy. Not every tiny bit of the world HAS to be “fixed” or healed. There are aspects of ourselves, and our adventure here in Life, that we can leave exactly as we find them.
Of course, there are other parts that DO need our attention. Still within our regular rotation around the card altar, that’s being made known by this draw.
“Healthful Eating ~
St Raphael, the Archangel
The Archangel Raphael is the supreme healer within the angelic realm. In this capacity, he sees a need for you to alter your diet and eat more healthfully. You’ve probably already heard this guidance through your repetitive thoughts or feelings.
In particular, Archangel Raphael would like you to eat more fresh and organic produce, drink more water, and avoid processed or chemical-laden foods and beverages.
The reward for making these changes includes having more energy, which will effectively allow you to spend more productive hours devoted to your dreams, desires, family, health, and life’s purpose.
Raphael is an archangel, meaning that he’s an overseer of your guardian angels. His name means “He who heals,” and he’s described in the Book of Tobit, an Old Testament chapter of Catholic and Anglican Bibles.
In this story, St Raphael healed Tobit (a good and ethical man) of blindness, and helped his son Tobias to find and marry a wonderful wife. This saint aids those who are ill, assists health professionals, and helps you attain and maintain wellness through a positive lifestyle.”

Speaking of Saints & Angels:
go look at THIS. Just go. It happened while I was sleeping. If any of you are new to the concept of our Empress and Hospice Dog Adoption, well, there’s many posts (with photos) in the archives. Right now, I’m kinda speechless over it all. Details to follow. Eventually.
