We find ourselves, from time to time, in situations which maybe aren’t so comfortable.  Through no fault of our own, there we are.  It happens to everyone; it’s part of our journey.

To experience a full scope of emotions and relationships, is to learn and grow, and later, be able to help others as they meet their own challenges.  This is what I saw and heard today, with much detail.

Conflicted Feelings

Yesterday we were encouraged to acknowledge our emotions, all of them. And now, this is a validation as well as a reminder.  Those types of lessons arrive in all shapes and sizes, many of them wonderful, but others sometimes not so terrific.

This is also what our daily draw is talking about.  On our card altar, within the regular rotation still, we have an excellent example of this struggle/resolution.

(I adore the illustration here, but differ in my interpretation.  I’m leaving it as is, but will discuss further at the end.)

“Soulmate Relationship  ~

‘New romance with a spiritual basis is here for you now.’

Your desire to be in a great love relationship has manifested and you are being guided to create or maintain this situation right now.  This relationship has a deep spiritual basis, with both partners having true faith and profound beliefs.

You and your partner share similar spiritual concepts and are open-minded when it comes to learning about and implementing new practices.

This partnership flows to you naturally right now.  However, if you worry about it or try to force the situation to happen, you could slow the results.  It’s important for you to enjoy the process leading up to your desired outcome.

Dance with the movement that your manifestation has created for you.  Attract your partner through your warm and relaxed demeanor, and know that Heaven is taking care of all of the details for both of you.”

From what I have learned, the “soulmate” relationships that we often think of are NOT of a romantic variety.  So, let’s not limit this card to only one small aspect of our lives.

Romance, important?  Yes.  THE most important?   No.  Every relationship we have has value.  Every single one.

All relationships have ups, downs, and sideways moments.  They are filled with ALL of the feelings.  And that’s good for us.  Very good.

As soon as it stops raining, we have to go thin these back INTO the yard.  They’ve wandered.

  1. This should be my first year of ‘real’ bloom for my Iris’s. My next door neighbor, before she got so bad with Alzheimer’s and had to go away into a home, told me to take her Iris’s since she couldn’t take care of them anymore. There were only a few left, but I moved them into my garden where she could see them. Of course, only the baby centers that weren’t disturbed bloomed last year. They’ve multiplied and it’s been a year, so this year I should have an armful of blooms. It’s so sad she won’t be here to see them.

You mean, you are so lucky to have been able to continue helping them grow.

  2. I am unconvinced by the concept of “soulmate”. Not just because I haven’t experienced it but because I’m not sure I know anyone who has (or if they have, we haven’t discussed it). But I do accept that, if soulmates exist, they could exist outside of a “romantic” relationship.

I love irises! The house here has white ones, but I prefer purple and yellow ones.

From my bike today I just saw ONE solitary white iris in a big patch of purples!

  3. I believe in the “soulmate” concept. I believe that I have one in my romantic relationship. I have had temporary work relationships (in a unit, or shift, or squad) where I have had that sort of connection with my coworker(s).

I also love Irises. We have some pretty impressive blooms in progress right now; I will have to share some.

    Share, share, share!
