For quite a few days now, “new” has been appearing in our readings, here in The Burrow, that’s also been the case.

We are all striving to do better, be better, learn more.  So, it seems that “new” is bound to happen.  Even though it’s not always an easy lesson.  (ARE there any easy lessons?)

Here’s what we need to focus on, as we all walk our transitions right now.

Because, to be patient and relaxed, to be informed and caring, is to move in that ever-spiraling upward motion of loving and living well.  It is to be our very best selves, while allowing all others to do the same.

Back within our regular rotation around the card altar, we have a visitor.  One who brings along messages for our hearts.  (Another King!)

Look at the water, and remember, it’s our emotions being represented as an element, as elemental.  One fifth of the Whole.  A portion of the All.  That which runs through us and connects us as One.

This individual shows us the way to stability.  To caring and tolerance.  The path to understanding all that is around us is to understand what comes from within.  Our emotions don’t need to rule us, but they do need to have their say.

The images here are some of my very favorites.  An ocean scene that is energetic and lively.  While at the same time, serene and regal.  Here are symbols of how we, all of us, come from the same origins.

We’ll travel different paths, but they’ll all lead to an amazingly wondrous destiny.  One that we are able to sometimes get the tiniest glimpse of while we’re on our way Home.

When we allow our emotions to cycle like the tides, and we allow others to live their lives in the same freeing, renewing way, we add that personal bit of lovingkindness to the blend.  We are a part of this.  And we are grateful.

  1. I’ve always been a fan of Cups. I like the message of not allowing emotions to rule us but definitely to take them into account. We don’t have control over what we feel, be we do have control over what we do in response to them.

Very much like how we don’t have control over other people’s feelings or reactions, either.

  2. Easy lessons? Snort. I’ve never found or had any!

“Tolerance” Yes. Everyone should be allowed to live their life in peace.

I’m still hoping for some that might be easiER.

  3. I had no idea they were doing an Outlander show! It looks like it is a TV series? I’m not a huge fan of the books (it is kind of you to still be friends with me), but I have to admit the trailer looks kind of interesting.

An “original series” is what the ads say.
Which means we may have to figure out a way to pay for the Starz channel.
