As we seem to be doing exactly what was talked about yesterday, I woke up with a message that, at first, seemed to be one of those “well, duh” remarks.  But then, I flipped our daily draw over, and it all fell in to place nicely.

The tiniest of details……

While we’re outwardly looking and seeing, we’re being reminded to also peek within.  Don’t neglect the Self-Care in the act of being observant.

Those small bits which can be over-looked.  When we make a point of being mindful, it’s in our best interest (and then, rippling out, for the highest good of all) to begin with ourselves.

And to notice the smallest feature, the seemingly insignificant, the personal minutia, is to honour the very core of ourselves.

Being directed to leave our regular rotation earlier, the card we were handed, makes a ton of sense.

“Remember Who You Are  ~

Archangel Michael:

‘You are a powerful, loving, and creative child of (Mr and Mrs) God.  You are very loved.’

Additional Message:

‘You are made in the image and likeness of your Creator, so you embody the aspects of all those qualities.  You inner Divine light is pure and bright in truth, and no mistakes can undo the handiwork of true perfection.

Don’t be afraid of your power, your magnificence, or your wisdom.  When you succeed  you inspire others.  When you change your life so that it’s more aligned with your interests, you inspire others.  Be powerful!  Be magnificent!

This is who you are.’

Working with Archangel Michael:

Michael’s name means ‘He Who Is Like God,’ since he emanates the Creator’s awesome qualities of love, power, strength, and unwavering faith.

When you call upon Michael,  your own similar qualities are enhanced and magnified.  Ask Michael to enter your dreams and clear away any fears that are blocking you from fully enjoying and living your spiritual gifts and qualities.

Michael works especially well with us while we’re sleeping, since that’s when we are more open-minded and receptive.”

I’ve been getting a BUNCH of connections to (and from?) Michael lately.  When I was led so powerfully to this one, and then it stared me in the face, I was sort of surprised/not really surprised at all.

Also?  I adore the soothing, calm tonal quality and colors in this illustration.

This Weekend’s Kitchen Adventures:

were layered.  We double-teamed it.  And made several old standards to get us through the work-week.  (Which, ya know, started tonight, our Monday morning.)

One of the prettiest ones I’ve ever made.
(And this is a recipe that I’ve cranked out MANY of, over the years.)

Cheesy vegetarian spinach quiche in a mixed rice crust.  Holy crap it turned out well.  When Dan gets home for lunch tonight we’ll find out if his bread pudding was also such a grand success.

  1. Yum. That quiche looks delish, and it smells great too. : )
Thanks for the message. I’m plowing through edits and had started to feel discouraged, procrastinating, finding everything possible so as not to do the work. I need to honor myself, pull up my socks and get back in there.

Not only honour yourself, but reach around and give her a big ol’ pat on the back!

  2. Spinach quiche. Mmmmm. My BFF made an asparagus quiche that was awesome, too. Maybe I should learn to make my own quiche…. 🙂

Going to do for me today, by gum. And what is with WordPress and these weird ass smilies???

I was going to ask you if the way these faces looked was different from where you sit. But you answered my question.
Let’s try some others and see if they’re stupid, too.

  3. I like your new header. And it’s the right size!
Good message. I shall ponder it. It’s a beautiful day out today; perhaps I will walk and ponder.

The quiche looks yummy. And bread pudding?! My favorite!

I just saw something on Twitter about a study/scan that shows how much our brain perks up after a 20 minute walk. So, yes! Walk and ponder!

  4. oooh, recipe, please? because I’m pretty sure that has eggs in it, and we all know I am always looking for egg recipes. Also, I’ve tried several custard recipes and haven’t found a good one yet, does Dan have one?

    1. This one took at least six eggs, and I’ll put it in Saturday night’s post. 😀

      No, but we’ll poke around.
Because now I want custard, too.
