The amount of irony (and humour too, sure) with which we come in contact on a day-to-day basis can be challenging.  I’m practicing every calming and tolerating technique that I know of.  Some of this is working.  Some, not.

Spending the majority of one’s afternoon on hold/dealing with large corporations is not my idea of fun.  However, there is always a plus side.  (Remember our Good/Bad  perception labels.)  And I eventually did unearth a tiny scrap of Positive.

My mood was too shredded to find the messages that I was directed to share today amusing.  But, they really almost are.  (And no doubt  tomorrow none of this will feel so serious.)

Details early, less waiting later.

This phrase was accompanied by images of travel, calling back to our recent message of faraway adventures.  Most of these were not “exotic” in some people’s minds, but again, labeling must be addressed here.

Perhaps one person’s idea of an adventure is to eat in a tiny alley café with only 4 tables.  While another individual would find that banal and not worth their time.

We simply can’t be the judge of anyone else’s experiences.  We can, however, be mindful of our own.  Take the time to see those tiny details through, well before any leaving takes place.  This will keep the wait time to a minimum.

On our card altar, we’ve received help in doing just this, as well as seeing WHERE our details need to be focused.

angel messages, guardian angel

“Wise Decision  ~  Guardian Angel

The decision that you are considering is a wise one.  This card is a message from your angels asking you to trust your inner wisdom.  Perhaps you worry about your decision-making abilities because in the past, some of your choices seemed unwise.

Yet if you truly think about it, you ultimately learned and gained a lot from them.  In that way, you can’t make a wrong decision, can you?

In this instance, you will know that you’re on the best path when your actions are guided by a peaceful feeling.  If there’s some part of you that doesn’t feel good about what you’re doing, then you are veering from the truth.

Sometimes staying on track means taking what seems to be the most difficult route.   Your angels ask you to trust in their ever-present love, support, and protection.

If you are making some major life changes, then your continued prayers will help you stay connected to your Divine guidance.

Like a pilot who’s constantly checking in with the air-traffic controllers,  you must speak and listen to the Divine Source as you go along.  Trust the messages of ethics, truth, and love.

They’re real . . . and they are the wisest choice for you to make.”

Today’s Sharing:

is this shot I forgot to share yesterday.

Something about tree hugger in a Found note. Which I felt was terribly appropriate.
Something about tree hugger on a Found note.
Which I felt was terribly appropriate.

Today almost all the snow is gone.  The floods are now our most eminent threat to life and limb.  Speaking of ……..

Today’s Averted Danger:

was how I didn’t crash in to (or over) all of the huge mountains of fallen tree branches, trunks, and assorted shrapnel that is littering every surface, especially streets, sidewalks, and bike lanes.  In the dark most moss is almost reflective, so I could see lighter spots ahead (on the downed bits), just before I  pedaled over them.

  1. Glad you managed to avoid being a casualty to all the fallen soldiers. It’s so sad to see all the downed and damaged trees.

We’ve had torrential rains the past two nights, with cloudy and breezy during the days. I don’t mind, as long as I’m not the one driving at night in the rain. That I hate.

I’m looking into alternatives to a regular full-time job, none of which will allow me to live independently unfortunately. But maybe there are other things out there that will, or that in combination will do so. That’s my big scary adventure right now.

Exploring all options, with no expectations, is a very good idea.

  2. Good grief. Glad you’re okay. Are you up high enough not to be flooded out?

I have scatter brain today. Guess I’ll stick to doing cleaning stuff since thinking is a chore… 🙂

We ARE up high enough. 😀

  3. “Details early: less waiting later.” Do you know how many times I have tried to drill this into the heads of my daughters? Still just yesterday one of them called to say she had a mandatory work meeting in an hour and a half and no gas in her car.
Glad you didn’t crash into anything.

    I was very glad, too.
It was WAY close a few times.
