There might have been a pre-written post in my Draft folder, but I’m so beyondtired right now I don’t remember.  And it’s too much effort to go look.

I hope everyone has a delightful holiday, or just a nice rest of your week, if that’s the way you roll.  Me?  I’m going to soak my feet (see Instagram link in side bar) and sit in as much quiet as I can possibly find.  Well, after I get done here.  And after I finish baking brownies for tomorrow.  But really RIGHT after that.

Today’s message talks about how we can’t change the situation we’re in, but we can see the good from where we sit, and we can survive it all.

and Gratitude.

Then we have this card, with even more help.  I’ve transcribed both directions, because that’s what needed to be done.

“The Horse King  ~  42  ~

assistance, control

The Horse King always comes to lend you the power to go the distance, forging ahead whatever the weather.  You will most certainly reach your perfect destination with this noble Ally.  He lets you know that some person or circumstances brought through synchronicity will certainly appear to help you with your endeavors.  You aren’t meant to go this part of the journey alone.

This is also an important time to delegate authority to others so that they may assist you.  Currently you are magnetic to powerful people who are in a position to help make your dreams come true.  The Horse King asks that you remain open to those who are sent to aid you.   You can be assured that you will be lifted up and will ride high in victory.

The Horse King wants to know why you think you can do everything by yourself.  Keeping control of everything around you is counterproductive and exhausting.  You may lose an important opportunity if you insist on being stubborn.  The Horse King is patient, however, and will wait for you to come to your senses and accept the help you need.  You won’t be able to reach your goal otherwise.

Yet the Horse King says that all it takes is a decision to jump on his back, ask for help, and graciously allow yourself to be carried to your destination.   Let go of control and amazing things can happen to you.”

More messages of Release?  Absolutely.  But see, now we have help.

LateNight Update:

is that Dan made the brownies (since he was up there baking pies anyway, and because he feels sorry for me).  (Which I am totally okay with.)

  1. Enjoy your foot soak, your brownies, and the rest of your day. I will let the Horse King help. And delegate, I will delegate.

It was very relaxing, except I kept thinking I needed to do something about “tomorrow” and that it was a work day.

  2. YAAAWWN. It’s nearly morning, but my tree is up, my kitchen table clear and Christmasy, presents under the tree, and early food prep done.

My daughter had her eyebrows done the way you did. She wasn’t as impressed. She said it was faster and less painful to get them waxed. Which just makes me shudder to think about! I’ll stick to plucking! 🙂

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

The thing is, I don’t pluck, or wax, or shave.

So this was all very new. And I continue to be over-the-moon thrilled with the results/process/aesthetician/business owner.

  4. I missed all my bloggies while I was with my family at xmas. Not enough time to read much even before I left on the 24th. Had lots of fun, didn’t crack open my computer but did spend time on Twitter and FB using my phone.

Just wanted you to know I am here and catching up.
