We haven’t talked much about guided meditations in a while.  That doesn’t mean I’ve let them fall off.  I am still a huge fan.  Because I know how helpful they can be.

Recently I spoke of tools and ways to pull ourselves out of those pits of despair (or ya know, shitty moods, whatever you want to call that situation).  A few quiet moments with the right music or voice to lead you away from the negativity is amazingly terrific.  And healing.

I received an on-line coupon, so I’m going to order a new set of meditations.  I’ll keep you posted on how they go.  For now, let’s look at what I heard when I woke up today.

             We’ve been invited to:

reminisce in each room of our memory.

Remember how houses often represent people in our dreams?  That’s what this message is about.  Go visiting, see loved ones, enjoy the special memories shared.

And while that’s happening, keep in mind that, in current time, we are also building new images to look back on.  To validate this one, here is our daily draw.

“Sign from Above  ~

Guardian Angel

The universe is sending you blessings and answers in the form of signs in the physical world.  These are messages that you see or hear repetitively.   This card asks you to pay extra attention to signs ……

Notice anything that you see or hear three or more times.  For instance, if several people recommend the same book, movie, or class to you, that’s a sign.  Observe unusual occurrences, such as angel-shaped clouds or clusters of butterflies.

Pay attention to items with special significance, such as a loved one’s favorite song playing on the radio, or a flower that you associate with a particular person or event.

This isn’t mere happenstance….. trust in the signs you receive and know that they are real and meaningful to you.”

Why?  Because there is no such thing as “coincidence.”

  1. Great post, and great reminders. I’d be interested in the guided meditation you’re trying. I have found that to be a wonderful aid, in a lot of ways.

Hmm. Now I am supposed to notice and remember things, huh. Well, I will give it a shot.

I’ll be sure to give it a nice full review, and show pictures of the box!

  2. I haven’t meditated in a while. Must get back to it. I have however, been doing a ton of reading. Losing myself in a good book does the same type of thing a good meditation does. It takes me out of the humdrum of life, and the pity-pot thoughts, and always leaves me with a sense of wonder.

Today, I’ll look for messages in nature!

    When I don’t have a book going,
    I feel sort of lost…….

  3. I’ve been doing some sort of breathing meditation or creative visualization most mornings for over a month now. I think it’s good for my overall mood. I need to stick with a theme for the visualizations, but there is so much I need to address Right Now, such as a need for a job/money and to start exercising. And just to regain/develop a sense of serenity and acceptance.

I’ll try to be open to signs. It’s nothing I’ve previously been good at, but I previously wasn’t good at getting only 4 or 5 hours of sleep and functioning well, so things can change over time.

And when you see a sign, how do you know what it means?

First, you only have ONE thing to address right now, you. Focus on something like this:
I am following my path, helping others, living in love, and striving towards the highest good for all.

    B) you know what the sign means because you will feel/hear/smell/sense who it was from, and why. When you notice a sign, listen inside your head. The sender will TELL YOU.

  4. Gah….the silly season. I get really sick of narcissistic manipulative types. And that’s as far as I’ll go with that so my head doesn’t explode. Ommmm….

Signs. I’ll have to try and keep my head up and look around while I’m doing my last minute Christmas crap. I did, however, get another visit from that hawk that was here a bit ago. Soooo pretty. I didn’t get a pic this time though. And the birds in my yard are not impressed!!! 🙂

Random thought/topic change! Are you into little English heartwarmer type of movies? I just watched “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” again. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1412386/?ref_=nv_sr_4 I’d forgotten how much I’d enjoyed it the first time around. (And, boy, did I need the break!)

Before our last video store closed, that was on the list to rent.
