Now Is Fine, absolutely fine.

No matter how I’m feeling BEFORE my water class starts, once I’m IN the water and we’re all moving around, the mood is immediately uplifting and positive.  Tonight it was down right festive.  So healing.  Once more, I realize how blessed I am to have this facility.  Not just in my town, but in my own freaking neighborhood.

The dreams which brought our message today were reminiscent of that same warm, salty, tropical happiness.  Combinations of people and places meshed and morphed into the reminder that we are all in this together, no matter what our configurations may be.

Connectional;

combining forces.

(Side note, that first word was not EXACTLY what I heard, but it’s close to it, and also, this one is new to me, so ya know, squirrel!)

When we blend our friends and families, bringing them forward into one cohesive clan or tribe, we feel a life-affirming security and comfort.  This is our basic foundation, as social animals.

Especially at this time of year, that concept can be powerful, in many directions.  We are reminded that we ARE able to gather around, share and trade, be held up.  Or, we if we choose to not see the good, select a victim mentality, we’ve turned away from our village.

On our card altar this afternoon, the daily draw is not only tremendously bright and brilliant, but it’s also exactly perfect.  Often times, when these particular holidays start getting closer and closer, we can all use a nice dose of stress-relief.

carnelian, healing, oracle cards, crystal messages

“Carnelian  ~

healing, creativity, energy, calmness, grounding, stability

This wonderful crystal offers you protection and healing.  It will help dissolve the sadness you have recently experienced as well as calm your thoughts and ease any anxiety.  Carnelian will also help you to express your emotions and stimulate your creativity.

You are encouraged to take up a creative pursuit or hobby at this time.  Start to express yourself in what ever way you choose – without judgement.  Working with colour will be especially helpful at the moment, for colour can also help to stabilise and heal your emotions.

Over the coming days, you will begin to feel a renewed sense of peace, joy, and wonderment for life.  Give thanks for the wondrous blessing you are receiving.”

Seriously, could this one have been more timely?!

Today’s Deck:

Crystal Oracle Cards by Toni Carmine Salerno

FLP  Report:

is from the past few days, beginning with one we’d never seen before, South Carolina.  Then, one that I see nearly once a week, but never on the same vehicle  Minnesota.  Plus an older style New Mexico, and one Illinois (which I also see kind of regularly) and a single Orange (Florida).

  1. ‘The Snow’ is here. Ugh. And, of course, my son wants to go running around in it. *sigh* No snow tires on the cars yet…

How awesome that you can continue to teach your swimmy class!

Oh, yeah. Definitely love the card today! I could really use some of that energy. I just need to find ‘my’ carnelian crystal to carry with me.

I have suddenly acquired a serious case of the hiccups! WTF? And my oh-so-charming son is laughing his ass off and standing here making squawking chicken noises after every hiccup. Can I smack him a good one?

Of course I can still lead my class at the pool, I make the work schedules!

Yes, you can hit him. But then you have to hug him, and kiss him on the head. Loudly.

  2. Julie, your islands say “hi” right back, and they want to know when you’re coming back…

  3. I used to find carnelian stones on the beach; they are gorgeous when polished, like the ones on the card. I don’t know if I have any with me, but I’m going to look while I’m doing some more unpacking of what I brought to the house when I moved.

Syncronicity: I’m getting around to reading your blog late in the evening. Today, while out shopping with Cindy, we ran into a 40% off sale on many things, including hardcover sketch books. I wanted the biggest one (It’s like 11×14-ish) and told her I was going to get it. But nope, she bought it for me. It’s 192 pages of nice paper! *Drool* And I have a great set of fine-point colored pens. I have visions of drawing very tiny intricate bits that slowly grow and grow all over the page.

It’s great that you get to continue to teach your swimmy class and that it’s in your neighborhood! Happy for you! And happy for me that you are part of my family!

(See comment to Robin re: pool.)

I’m happy to be part of your family, too.
