One of the definitions of the symbolism for houses in dreams is that they represent people in our lives.  The Santa Barbara house my grandparents lived in when I was growing up has appeared in my dreams since they sold that residence the year I turned 10.

Four decades of seeing the rooms, the view, the property, and only sometimes the folks who lived in it.  Today I woke up from house dreams that just warmed my soul and broke my heart, all at the same time.

Then, this is what I heard:

every personal connection that we make along our journey has meaning and value.

We just don’t know HOW MUCH “meaning and value” at the time of the contact.  Our path is a series of these interactions.  Every single one is not intended to be life-changing, but they always ARE life-important.  Yes, even the briefest of them.

On our card altar right now we were given a lovely tie-in gift for this one.  Also, it seems like our theme is consistent, too.  Very much what we’ve been hearing for days now.

crystal oracle cards, malachite

“Malachite  ~  healing, change, insight, loyalty, patience

The predominant quality of this Malachite crystal is support and healing.

This is a time of positive change.  You will soon let go of past regret and guilt and this will pave the way to a positive and inspiring future.

Guilt and regret stem from a misconceived belief that  you could have acted differently in the past, and if you had done so, things would have turned out better, either for you or for others.

Yet the universal law is such that it is impossible for you or others to ever lose anything without gaining an equal amount in return.  Life is always held in perfect equilibrium.

You are currently failing to see the positive effects of your past actions, choices, and decisions.  Look carefully and you will realise that many positives exist and that life is forever changing and unfolding in accordance to the higher will of your soul.

There are no mistakes, for ultimately, all serves a purpose.  All is designed to help us expand our awareness in order that we can embrace greater spheres of wisdom and love.

Bless the past and let it go!

Know that everything  you have ever said or done, or think you have failed to say or do, has served a positive purpose for you and others.

There is no right or wrong choice.

Every choice I make is perfect at that time for it leads to an outcome which is necessary for me to grow in love and wisdom.”

Nothing I could possibly add to that, except…..

I told you there were no mistakes.

was a baked dish, inspired by THIS, invented by me, and crafted by Dan (before he had to leave for work).

home made mac and cheese
Would you like some? Come by, we have plenty.

It was originally supposed to just be a side serving for the meatloaf I made day-before-yesterday.  But it was tardy, and then just became an entire meal.  Shell pasta, Italian cheese blend, broccoli, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes.

  1. I love malachite. It’s beautiful.
That pasta dish looks beautiful, too. And yummy.
Sorry about your dead basil plant. 😦

Thanks, we were kind of in shock at first….
    now we’ve become resigned.
And have to face replacing it.

  2. I remember really liking Malachite the last time it showed up, so much so that I bookmarked the original post so I could go back to it when I needed the reminder.
    The pasta looks delicious! 🙂

Oh, and you are welcome to sneak in on my posts anytime, you know that. It’s hardly interrupting.

You were on such a roll that I didn’t want to slow you down by being a pest. 😉

  3. Beautiful, beautiful Malachite!

My house dreams are always of big, old farmhouses with wrap around porches still on a farm. Something I have always wanted since childhood. Not sure how that is someone else in my life. I’m the only one I know that wants something like that. 😦

And I’m trying really, really hard to ignore that book full of pasta and cheese… 🙂

In this case that big old beautiful farm house is a past life. Not a person, unless we consider the person you WERE then as a different person. Which, in a way, is physically true.

You’re remembering it, and missing it.
    I do the same thing.

  4. I love Malachite. I went into an abandoned slate mine when I was in Wales. One of the minerals often discovered along with slate in that area was copper, which coexists with Malachite. So I got to see some lovely malachite formations inside that dark mine! And I really need this message. I often regret past choices and actions and I am having a difficult time with that right now.

    The pasta looks so yummy!

I’m fascinated with how stones and metals pair up or appear in the same places. And yet come out of the ground looking so very different.
