Tonight we had guests.  For dinner.  Don’t worry though, nothing got cleaned.  No preparation was made.  It was just my mom and dad.  So the word “casual” might be an understatement.

There is too much Mexican mac & cheese here, so we shared.  And she brought me a card.  Because when she saw it; the illustration seemed like everything I love.  Look at it, she was right!

sea scenes, serenity, lighthouse view
Isn’t that beautiful?

Also, they delivered our anniversary greetings early, in case we don’t see them before Wednesday.  (Crap, are we really that close to another year already?)

It was a lovely afternoon, as it always is with my ridiculous parents.  No, I did not get any photos, we were so busy it never occurred to me.  They have no interwebs (and no computer) so much of today was catching them up on photos and on-line info that they can’t get at home.

One of the topics my mother and I discussed was the power of prayer.  She never feels short-changed or cheated by life, because her attitude is one of Grace.  (It’s also one of very bad language and crabbiness, but mostly, ya know, Grace.)

We talked about lovingkindness and how any time we send Love out in to the world, even if that’s all we can do in a situation, it helps.  We both know this.  And want to make sure others know it, too.

The message I woke up with earlier was basically a reminder from yesterday, with that “send Love” notation added on like an attachment file or Post It Note.

Our interpretation of the reality surrounding time is merely our current perception;

make the best of every single moment.

Whether we are at a stage in our journey where we can understand the concept of “everything happens when it’s supposed to” or not, we can at least accept this.

Our daily draw is, again, away from the regular rotation.  When I am directed to a particular stack I never question it.  And this one seems like it really wants to help.

angel messages, oracle cards

“Life Review  ~

Archangel Jeremiel:

‘Take inventory of your life, and resolve to change or heal anything that is unbalanced.’

Additional Message:

‘It takes courage to look at your life.  Yet, if done with compassion and a sense of humor, you will grow and learn from a life review.   I’ll help you take stock of where you’ve been.  We’ll look at what you have learned, and how these lessons are a valuable asset for today and tomorrow.  We’ll also notice life patterns that aren’t serving your highest good, and we’ll take steps to release those patterns.’

Working with Archangel Jeremiel:

One of Jeremiel’s purposes is to help newly crossed-over souls review their lives.   He also helps those who are still living to make life reviews.  Take time soon to be alone, and ask Jeremiel to help you review where you’ve been, what you’ve learned, what patterns you are ready to release, and what you’re grateful for in  your life.”

Even though this suggestion seems like it might be VERY difficult,  it also feels VERY worthwhile.  I’m going to try it out, as soon as I’m done typing.

  1. Well, I’m certainly in a life-review stage, so asking for help with it couldn’t hurt.

I love the card your mom gave you! It’s beautiful and all the things I love, too. (Okay, except for a distinct lack of raspberries, so I’ll just imagine them growing next to the deck.)

Hope your day today is wonderful!

Today didn’t go the way I thought it would,
but that doesn’t mean it’s be a bad thing.

  2. oops, I was going to post on the most recent one and commented on yesterday’s by accident. But on the plus side, as soon as I read today’s card, an entire scenario popped into my head. thank you dear.

I replied to that one, too.

    ALWAYS a plus side. 😛

  3. Yep, getting close to another year. Jeremiel has some interesting things to say.

We’ve been yelling back at the baseball announcers on Dan’s radio app who keep saying things like
this late in the season. . . .
    as we near September. . . .
    now that summer’s about over. . . .

Bastards, can’t they just enjoy where we are NOW?!
