Just when I think I’m going to catch up, some global news happens.   And I feel obligated to share.   Well, not like I have to do it, but like I’d want others to tell me this type of thing.  Being informed is part of living a genuine life.

At midnight tonight, the second it turns Sunday, there will be a sort of boycott.  Go HERE and read the story (and HERE is a newer update).  It’s being called Twitter Silence and I’m participating.    Because I can.

When I woke up earlier, there was our message, and today’s Intention (Listen) practically at the same time.

Performance is not as important as intent.

And on our card we received a wonderfully complimentary draw.

oracle cards, mermaid messages

“Music for Manifesting.

To manifest rapidly, think of your desire while you chant, hum, sing, or play music.

Music is a powerful ally on your spiritual path, as it serves to boost your manifestation powers.  Music is part of the invisible realm, and is of a higher frequency than that of the physical plane.  It wraps us in a protective shield to guard us from negative energies.  It also lifts our emotions and thoughts to joyful levels.

By drawing this card, you are urged to play any type of music that suits your mood, as often as possible.  Move your body to the music  and breathe in deeply as you listen to it, drawing in the energy of each note.

Use music as a manifestation tool.  First, sit quietly and think of your desire.  Imagine that your dream has already come true, and feel that reality in your stomach as warmth, peace, excitement, or security   Feel gratitude in your heart.

As you enjoy these feelings, being to chant, hum, or sing.  This self-made music sends your manifestation into the ethers, where it coagulates into tangible reality!”

Tomorrow we have two items on our list: get some shit over to Emma’s new place, and later, pedal up to Washburne Park to hear Ally (xenatuba) and her Mrs play music.  Thanks, Universe, we can totally do this.

  1. I think it’s terrific what the woman who wrote those posts is trying to do. I do think there should be a report abuse button. I do think that there should be some way to whole-sale block abusers by the social application itself. I’m rarely on Twitter anymore, so it’s not like I’m actually participating, but I’m there in spirit.

I like the messages today. However, I live in a “quiet house” with one housemate who has issues with noise and who has a hell of a temper when she gets off-balance (last night this happened and it was very, very, VERY uncomfortable for me because I don’t handle other people’s anger well at all, especially when it’s just being flung about without control). so I won’t be listening to music or singing, humming, or chanting. Except maybe in my head. 🙂 But I can take this up again once I get my own place.

Um, no. That’s not how messages like this work. YOU get to decide.
    Here is your solution:

  2. And I will be playing music. Just as I did yesterday, and will tomorrow.

RE: Twitter stuff. I cannot believe the crap that some people put out in the relatively anonymous world of the electronic medium. Really, folks, if you don’t really believe it, or wouldn’t say it in person, why the hell write it? Oh, “because you can?” Not good enough.

And the channeled message: I would so much rather play music “wrong” and get the feeling right than play note perfect with no feeling.

I totally thought of you and your Mrs the second I saw the music message(s)!

  3. New picture! AT THE BEACH!!!

Horrible, horrible stuff people tweet or comment or put out there on the webs because they can. What can the inside of their heads be like?!?

And heard some gorgeous beautiful music today and it just filled my soul with joy.

Does someone you gave birth to (with the first initial of “R”) happen to have ANOTHER version of that picture? Just curious.

    Yipee for healing by music!

  4. I’ll ask. Did she take any pictures of you/us? Except for the Viking of course! She’s been hiding in her room, decompressing from the stress of college visits and having to spend an entire week non-stop in the company of her mother.
