Read this book! (Plus all the usual.)

No clever titles tonight.  I have a new recommendation for everyone.  And I do mean EVERYONE!  Mine is a library copy, and this is not a new release, so it’s pretty beat-up, but that also means it’s available where YOU are.

As I said in my earlier Facebook posting, it is accompanied by another Hawaiian connection.  I couldn’t be happier.  This one was suggested by *A* a while back, but it just now showed up on my request list.  (Timing is everything.)

Not everybody is a fan of mythological storytelling,  but Dr Anita Johnson does a pretty good job with it here (as in, it’s kept to a minimum, used in the perfect amount).  I’m about one third of the way through it, but I plan on finishing tonight.

Within Eating in the Light of the Moon we have truths.  Universal and global truths.  Facts that must be faced, balances that must be returned.  I cannot express to you all enough how very important this is.  Go get the book!

As soon as I’m done typing and working here, I’ll be heading upstairs and back to my copy.  You will be hearing more about this, I promise.  But for now, let’s look at what our messages are.  The first, channeled through me, is:

quiet and still;

now is the time to listen.

To go along with this book?  Couldn’t BE more fucking perfect.  And on our card altar we have a delightfully complimentary crystal to bring it all together.

“Selenite Green  ~

healing, tranquil pleasures, day dreams, imaginings

Life is a river of dreams.  Simply relax and enjoy the journey!

Over the coming days you will find yourself day dreaming, envisaging your life as you would truly love it to be.  Your thoughts are bathed in the tranquil pleasures of love, romance, and ideal relationships, yet these imaginings are not fantasy, rather, they are glimpses of the future.   You are entering a time of great joy, creativity, and tranquility.   This time your dreams and wishes really do come true!

Keep an open heart and mind, and above all, trust in the magical and healing power of love to transform your life.  A period of great joy and happiness is just around the corner!”

This is one my favorites, the words as well as the color.  And I adore how well everything falls into place.  There is a serenity to this entire blend.

will probably be some Tahini Cookies.  I think.

then you know it’s good!

Go.  Get it.  Especially anyone who is a parent.  Or a woman.  Or who lives on this planet.

  1. Thanks for the recommendation. It sounds great…and Max loves, so how could it not be a worthwhile read? Love the message.

As I told Barb in yesterday’s comments, taken together, these two books are a winning combination.

  2. How many paws up does Maxx give it? 🙂

Love the card and the stone. Beautiful. Today is a kind of low energy day for the household, but I’ll try to get out into the non-rainy weather.

It’s funny how, now that I’m in ALL of the weather, it doesn’t matter what it’s doing. Out I go!

  3. Of course my bible belt library doesn’t have either of them. Going for the intra library loan. I love that. Done it so many times. I’m always fascinated where books come to me from and I love it that so many uncommon books are accessible that way.

YES! Not good that your library doesn’t have them, but YIPEE for the intra-library system!
