Seeing the Release.

We packed the raingear for our ride to the gym and library, just in case.  It worked like a charm.  By which I mean, we didn’t need it.  I love when that happens.

In other news, we have new neighbors.  I was scooped by Myron though, the nosy bastard.  He beat me to the introductions.  Now I have to, like, bake something for them (although I probably won’t).

Just kidding, I love that chatty New Jersey native.  A few weekends ago he was having some landscape work done.  It involved an earth moving piece of equipment, the tiny (Bobcat) kind, not the full-sized Tonka type.  And it went poorly at one point, they were having trouble.

Dan and I were in the front yard, just like yesterday, and we could hear them but not really see what was going on.  Then, it sounded like maybe things were back on track, many happy sounds wafting in our direction.  I asked the deputy if he could see across there (he’s taller, and was standing up at the time).  Did it look like all was well now?

His reply told the whole story, “no.  I think that was just Myron being inspirational.”  See?  He’s the best guy to have near by, always cheering you on, no matter what the circumstances.

Somewhat related, is our channeled message.  Just seconds out of bed, as I stood there gazing across the lush expanse in which I live, there was this to share:

perspective, vantage point, the view from here.

Apply that in whatever direction you need to.  Combine it maybe, with this.  On our card altar we have a validation.  Or is it a Challenge?

“Letting Go  ~

You aren’t receiving positive results because you’re struggling too much to solve the problem.  By letting go, you are opening yourself up to a miraculous resolution.

Problems are caused by human thinking and action.  That’s why problems aren’t solved by additional human thinking, and action.  When we think hard or struggle to resolve a crisis, things can actually get worse!

By drawing this card, you are being asked to stop the human struggle.  Stop thinking about the problem, since a focus on negativity can manifest even more negativity.  Say aloud or silently, ‘I am willing to surrender the situation to the Universe right now.’

By affirming this statement, heaven is able to intervene on your behalf. You will instantly feel relief, and will be gratified to see how easily and naturally the situation resolves itself.

Affirmation:

I am willing to surrender this situation right now.  When I let go, everything turns out perfectly.”

Say it with me.  Because you know I’ll be repeating this one.  At least twice.  (There are several “situations” I need help with.)

  1. When I let go everything turns out perfectly.

I love that, and it is so true. Thank you for the reminder, because I needed it today. : )

  2. I went to a tech networking event with Steve last night. It was fun. Got to talk to people who indicated other people I need to talk to. So I’m going to start making Steve introduce me to many people. He’d rather sit in a corner and just watch. He hates interacting with people, the old curmudgeon that he is. 🙂 But the best way to network is to develop relationships, and that’s a way of letting go of the focus on “I must find work right now”.

Glad you can look out on your lush surroundings.

  3. I’ve released soda from my life. Yesterday was my first carbonation-free day. There were moments when I very much missed soda but I stuck with my water. Sigh…

    No sighing, cheering!
Here’s the way to get past that lingering WANT feeling, say it like these suggestions, or make up your own:

    1. This is a false sensation, an old habit, not really a need.
    2. I’m not actually thirsty, but if I am, water is nourishing instead of harmful.
    3. Replacing the old way with the new is very empowering.
(Be sure to drink your water at this point, to help distract yourself and break the pattern.)
    4. I am so thankful that I have access to clean, refreshing water.

    Good luck!
