Apparent Appreciation.

Some Tuesdays feel as though they are an entire week long.  We pack as much as possible into them because the next day is back-to-work for Dan.  This method is effective, but also, kind of exhausting.

When we got home (for about the fourth time) tonight/this afternoon, our to-the-south next-door neighbors called.  They are leaving tomorrow for an extended summer trip (to one of those square states in the middle of our country), and were wondering if the Deputy could wander over a few times to splash water on various growing items.

Also, could he tend to this ONE individual, over here on our side of the fence?  (Like maybe just put it on a shelf in the kitchen?)

miniature plants

Christmas cactus?

It’s smaller than my phone.  And you all know how wee THAT is!  Hope we don’t kill it while they’re gone.  (Empress has some sad and sorry tales of the potted greenery she’s left in our care.  Hey, at least the dog is okay.  And by “okay” I clearly mean obese and poorly behaved.)

Moving on!  Our channeled message was a tricky one.  I remembered it, but then I hit the snooze button, rolled over, and it got lost.  However, it returned.  Whew!

Embrace each and every moment.

The best part is that it goes SO freaking well with the daily draw, of which I was directed across the altar to flip.

archangel messages, healthy living

“Healthy Lifestyle  ~

Archangel Raphael:  ‘Eat a healthful diet, get adequate sleep, and exercise regularly for optimal health.’

Additional Message:

‘You are co-creating your health by following your inner guidance about lifestyle habits.  I give you inner nudges to improve the way you eat, or to exercise, or to rest more often.  My prodding isn’t to nag you or rob you of pleasure.  Rather, my urgings are in response to your prayers for higher energy levels, increased well-being, weight loss, and a happier mood.

When you take excellent care of your body, your outlook and self-esteem naturally blossom.’

Working with Archangel Raphael:

Raphael is Heaven’s physician, and he prescribes preventative and curative medicine in the form of Divine intervention and guidance.  In the former, he swoops into the situation and surrounds it with his emerald green healing light and love – and the situation is instantly healed.

But in the latter (which is actually more common), Raphael will give  you intuition and hunches showing how you can help with the healing.”

This comes at a very auspicious time for me, what with seeing my new health care professional and her assigning Intuitive Eating for me to read.  One of the things they talk about is listening to our bodies, building up a shield against all of that mass-marketing of the false and entirely incorrect bullshit that’s being foisted upon us constantly.

The simple answer is to be aware, hear what our body has to say.  Then, honour it.  Nourish it.  And treat it kindly.

  1. First day went really really well!

Then Mom blindsided me. She claims unintentionally. Have had massive sobbing fits anyway. Great big wounds opening up… there is just so much left to release. What a roller coaster day! But I am a lightworker, and I am healing and transmuting for All.

When I walked across the parking lot to work this morning there were two sparrows, I believe a male and a female, trying to move a feather that was three times their size… made me smile and think of you! 🙂 Now that I think about it, that feather was gone when I walked back by… so they were successful in dealing with big challenges, and in feathering their nest! 😉

Awww, the Christmas Cactus is adorable!

That (angel) sign was a stunner!

  2. Your neighbor left a mini Alphonso in your care. You two should get along really well because he’s a cross dresser. At one of the winter holidays he will bloom out in pink or red very feminine blooms. He’s sweet. Just remember he’s not gay and he may be a heart-breaker around members of the female plant persuasion.

    Oh holy crap that’s right!
The best part? I have been convinced (for YEARS) that this neighbor was a secret cross-dresser. If only he’d be honest….

  3. We know well the feeling of impending work weeks over here. And I love Raphael’s message…it is really about paying attention. Mrs. Denial has had a Christmas cactus for many years, and when he blooms (not often, but always in winter) he is fantastic. Of course, we got one bloom in March this year…technically winter, but, well, you know.

I had no idea these were so popular!

  4. Intuitive Eating sounds fascinating, looking forward to hearing more about it. Figuring out my own health plan– yes. 🙂

    Oh it’s a good one!!!

  5. Yeah, eating and exercising and being healthier. Definitely want that. Am not as good at doing it yet or getting back onto the track I was on back in Houston. Working on it.

Good luck with the baby plant. At least it is less likely to become obese and badly behaved!

The best way to get back to it all is to DO IT!

  6. I’m doing fine with most of these, but need to get a bit more sleep. Even one more hour would make a huge difference. Off now to Curves. : )

Yep, all the factors must be there.
    Sleep. So valuable!

  7. Well, I seem to be doing well with the exercising regularly. The rest, not so much. But baby steps, baby steps will get me there.

Also, we have to keep in mind that it’s a JOURNEY.
    The destination is:
So, we CAN take our time. 😛
