It was bound to happen.  I’m just surprised it took this long.  We received a channeled message as I was getting up today.  However, the alarm was set for EARLY because we were meeting J.D. downtown.  And in my rush, the jotting down part of day-starting got left out.  So later, the memory (and message) had disappeared.  Gone.  Just, gone.

This tells me two things.  One, getting up early* is always a TERRIBLE idea.  (I knew it, but this is a nice validation.)  And B: a reminder of serendipity (synchronicity?).  We hear (and see and gain knowledge from) what we need to, right WHEN we need to.  Just as we were told yesterday.

*Not like it was MORNING or anything, but it was a full hour earlier than I usually leave the bed.

Whatever today’s message was?  We’ll get it again, or later, or not at all, or perhaps this lesson is it.  We’ll hear it  when we’re supposed to.  For now, we have our daily draw to enjoy, and gain wisdom from.

“Angel of Prayer  ~

Ask the Universe and the Angels for help and guidance.

You are never alone, nor do you need to tackle or solve everything on your own.  The universe, God/Goddess, and the angels are always listening; all you need do is ask for their help and guidance.

Prayer does not need to be formal or structured as has been the tradition for so long in many religions.  You may converse with the universe, God/Goddess, the angels, ascended masters, and all beings of light and love, in your own language and in your own way.

The universal power is  your loving friend.  The pure essence of creation responds immediately to all your requests, however, due to the universal law of choice, it will not act or intervene unless it is asked to do so.  Discuss current issues along with any other fear or concern you may have with the Angel of Prayer.”

Not much I can add to this one.  Except, I can comment on the illustration, I like it loads.  It reminds me of the prayer candles from my childhood.  And the swirls are cool, too.

(Also, we discussed this one, and the word alternatives, at length the last time [only other time]  it came up.)

Today’s Mileage:

is not quite accurate, we walked way more this afternoon than THIS map shows.  Way.  More.

finding feathers
First (feather and extended wander) in a long time.

The weather could not have been more cooperative and perfect.  That’s the neighborhood mileage above, but we also walked downtown, in Mayberry, and earlier, at a tattoo event.

ohana organics
I wish I could share the scent with you.

There is a welcoming and exquisitely unique fragrance that greets you when stepping off of an airplane onto the Hawaiian soil.  That tiny jar in this picture smells so perfectly like it that I made the boys buy me some.  A beautiful young woman creates it using organic ingredients, go see her website HERE to learn more.

(Corina, she’s in your part of the world!)

  1. wow I love that. She has shea butter with rose geranium. Those prices are very reasonable and the shipping is not bad. Payday I will be buying some. I need new moisturizer. Thanks for that.

I haven’t had time yet to check out much of the website, but yes, she’s got a great selection and her products are simply DREAMY!

    11:42 p.m.

(And I love the fact that an authourly atheist across the country got to her via an Oregonian witch with tattoos. HA!)

  2. Don’t even talk about getting up early… I’m supposed to be in bed by now, adjusting my sleep schedule, but I’m not (obviously).

Angel of Prayer is a totally awesome reminder!

Wow, Ohana Organics is just a few miles away from me, and sells at several stores I go to, including my favorite hippy foods store in HumCo (Wildberries), which also has a farmer’s market on Tuesday late afternoons that I will probably start frequenting now that I will be able to afford to buy food someplace besides Dollar Tree! (Yeah, it’s run-on as fuck, but I’m tired as fuck, so I don’t care.) I will definitely give her stuff a sniff next time I’m there.

And I wanted to thank everyone who sent congratulations for the job! 🙂 Thank You, All!!! Unfortunately the new schedule means I will probably become much more of a lurker, because I’m less likely to comment when I’m tired, and visiting Julieland will probably be one of the last things I do before going to bed at night. 😦 We’ll see how it plays out, but that’s my prediction.

I’m waiting to hear that you and Tara (Ohana Organics creator) have friends in common. It’s gonna happen!
And yeah, in looking at the website I found a few local shops here who carry her products; same story in The Burrow, will definitely be making purchases as soon as possible.

If you must lurk then we expect check-ins from you on some days off. After you’ve rested up. 😛

    1. Oh, and feather, YAY!!! Double angel blessings!!!

      I know!
      Super cool.

      10:13 p.m.

    2. This is my first stop of the day, arising early as I do. Gets my mind in tune for the day…

      I love this.

      10:14 p.m.

  3. Another message that’s really good.

Yay, feather!! And oh, do I miss Hawaii. Which item did you purchase, so I can order it to have that smell around me all the time?

    The “Hawaiian Lei” solid fragrance.
    (It is so glorious……. )

I also am going to get the “Da Kine Organic Salve” as soon as I have enough pennies saved up.

    10:18 p.m.

  4. Good reminder to tell me to ask for help from the Universe. I want to make sure I find the right work for me. I just sent my resume to a friend at Amazon to put in the system. I’m not sure if I want to work at Amazon, but it’s stable and pays well and my friend enjoys it.

I’ve never been to Hawaii, so I don’t know what it smells like. It would almost be worth it to buy that scent just to find out! 🙂

Once you have met that scent, it never leaves you. The memory is haunting. And then, when you almost forget, someone like Tara shows up in your life…..
oh wait, maybe that’s me. 😉

    10:20 p.m.

  5. I think that those structured prayers are good for when you need to pray but can’t come up with the words yourself.

Off to check out the nice smelly stuff . . .

I agree with you about the structure. And it’s why I find written out affirmations so helpful.
I can’t ALWAYS be channeling shit!
