The towering stacks of crap, junk, valuable shit, insightful materials I have next to me right now, for sharing purposes, are seriously impressive.  What a busy day it’s been!  Both physical and spiritual.  (And I’m only about halfway through it.)

Let’s begin with an affirmation that I just saw (and absolutely need to research more).  It is credited to Debbie Erasmus (who I totally have never heard of but am on my way over to stalk meet now), from an oracle card reading:

Peace is knowing that only LOVE is real.”

Probably I spotted this in someone’s Twitter feed, but I can’t recall (coming home this evening was sort of chaotic [plus I was on the tardy side] my Empress was here, AND it was snake feeding day), also, it really doesn’t matter.  It found us, and that’s the point.

The messages I woke up with today are more personalized, it seems.  But they are also (as always) to share, so interpret them within your own context.

  • Avoid Resentment
  • Turn Our Back On Negativity
  • Walk Face-First In To The Positive

This month’s calendar photos/illustrations are not that inspiring  but the affirmation for May absolutely is.  From You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay:

All of the barriers in my life are dissolving.

The gateways to wisdom and learning are always open, more and more, I am choosing to walk through them.

Barriers, blocks, obstacles, and problems are personal teachers giving me the opportunity to move out of the past and into the Totality of Possibilities.

I love stretching my mind, thinking of the highest good imaginable.  As my mind can conceive for more good, the barriers and blocks dissolve.  My life becomes full of little miracles popping up out of the blue.

Every now and then, I give myself permission to do absolutely nothing but sit and be open to Divine Wisdom.

I am a student of Life, and I love it.”

Did you catch the mention of gates?  And mind work?  Yeah, I thought that was very cool.  Nice validation, thanks Universe!  (And Louise.)

On our card altar this afternoon we have come back around to what is quickly turning into one of my all time favorites.  Whenever we get closer to this stack I look forward to reaching it, because I know that particular day will be pleasant and empowering, all at the same time.

angel messages from oracle cards

“Receiving from Angels  ~

‘Shimmering wings of angels embrace me with love.’

Card meaning:

Blessings from above are showering over your life.  Angels are real, a thought away.  Messengers from the Creator, they come to you with immense blessings and love.  All is well.   Spread your wings and soar!

The Universe wants you to know:

Angels are watching over you.  They love you deeply and profoundly.  Be still and open your heart to their wisdom and healing.  They will come to  you in soft breezes, rainbows, and feathers that seem to magically appear.

These signs let  you know that you are going in the right direction and that all is unfolding exactly as it should.

The angelic energy within you is expanding.  Know that you are an angelic healing force for others.

Questions to ask yourself:

How can I access the angelic energy within me?  What is the most important thing that my angels want me to know?  How can I accept and receive even more from the angelic realm?

Shimmering wings of angels embrace me with love.”

When I receive/am gifted/purchase a new deck for our daily draws, I don’t do much looking ahead.  This makes the messages and images as new to me as they are to you.  Today was the first time I’d seen this card.  It’s extremely calming and serene, and yet, also dynamic.

Today’s Deck:

Gateway Oracle Cards by Denis Linn

Today’s Mileage:

was just to downtown and back, errands* and appointments, 8.703 in 50 minutes 52 seconds with an average speed of a relatively zippy 10.2 MPH (even with the continuing wind).

*I also stopped for cookies, because . . . .  COOKIES!  (I know, I know, I know.  The new/old oven works and I’ve mostly figured out how to use it, but come on!  These are SO damn good, convenient, and totally affordable.  Order some, you’ll see.)

Last Night’s Baking:

was a batch of biscuits, but they looked exactly like nearly all of the ones I’ve made before.

LateNight Addition:

this post went up late, I was doing gym laundry, and lost track of the time (kinda been that sort of a day).  Oops.  It might have gone out, e-mail-wise, with some typos.

  1. Cookies always make my day better. And home made – with some milk – nuttin better.

These are like home-made, but the improved version. So yeah, helps EVERYONE’S mood. 😉

  2. Cookies, good. Validation good. Kind of a good day all the way around. I’d rather head face first into positive than turn my back on negative…kind of a numbered person thing there…

USMC thing too, according to Dad.

  3. I have not had a cookie is such a long time. Chocolate chip cookies hot from the oven with a glass of milk. Nom.

Now I’ll go eat my diet fudge cake. It’s good too and satisfying. Not as satisfying as hot cookies but it will have to do.

Part of my re-learning and therapy is about eating “real” food (nothing with the words diet or low fat in them or with ingredients that I can’t recognize/pronounce). I couldn’t live if there weren’t real cookies in my future.

I am VERY glad that you have found a nice treat. 😀

  4. I’ve been getting cookies at my new home. And homemade dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting (OMG!). I must now begin exercising again so as to not lose all the progress I’ve made!

I laid in bed for awhile this morning, trying to simply relax and think. I managed the relaxation for the most part, but my mind has become completely undisciplined and would not stay on a single thought for more than a few seconds. I have a lot of work to do there!

This card is nicely comforting and encouraging. I like that.

Do you practice the One-Two breath meditation work to bring your mind back to present? It’s very helpful.
(And on about every Zen-related website, as the most basic tool.)
