Altering Together.

The deputy had training yesterday, so we ended up with a bonus evening last night.  Which made today feel more like our Monday.  It was refreshing.  We got some shit done, then he left for Mayberry.

Appreciating small gifts like this is very important to our soul health.  It’s like, as we’ve been told the past few days, how we need to recharge by finding a few moments of Quiet Time, by stepping out of our regular schedules and transforming a common minute into something more Magickal.  These are the small strides that make our lives more joy-filled.

In my meditation time this afternoon I was reminded of our channeled message (which I actually first heard about when I woke up today).  It is: Unity, and how we are encouraged to share our prayers.  Or loving intentions, or mind darts of energy, FGBVs, or focused healing thoughts.

When we aim this (whatever you want to call yours) directly at someone who needs help, the ones around them are also benefiting.   The more we practice these methods (like spreading Peace) the more people we will reach.  And then, the more people THEY will reach.  So, as we’ve always said around here, share!  Do it in a unified, focused, and pointed manner.

On our card altar we have a powerful message that validates our good work, echoing one of our Julieland Truisms: walk your path, or be dragged.

oracle cards of change and resurrection

“The Phoenix  ~  29  ~

resurrection, surrender to change

The Phoenix appears as your Ally to celebrate your journey and to ensure your ultimate success.  This is true even if it appears that you’ve just passed through a metaphorical experience of death or are currently enduring a perception of failure in your life.

Death and rebirth are related when you enter the realm of the Phoenix.  Seen in this light, nothing truly dies, but rather changes from one ending directly into new beginnings.  The Phoenix is constantly reinventing itself and rises up whole and new and even more powerful with every death it experiences.  This could signal an end of a relationship – or of a dynamic within one – or an end of a job, a project, or even a life.

Perhaps no failure is involved, but it’s time for a complete overhaul of your circumstances.  You may be tired of what you are doing, or you may know intuitively that it is now time to move on and try something new.  Whatever the case, a death of the old and a celebration of new life are called for!  Whatever you do now will indeed be a successful endeavor, for a rebirth is imminent.”

As some others have indicated in this space, tonight’s card wants both directions to be told and looked at.

“Challenger

When the Phoenix challenges you, it’s really just a gentle reminder to let go and let what doesn’t work fall away.  Maybe you are not allowing things to change because you’re more comfortable with the familiar, even if you know that it’s not the best you could create for yourself.

Fear of change is a crippling experience, as it works against Nature itself.  The task at hand is to allow for an ending, as it’s timely and right that you do so for the highest good of all.

In surrendering to the fundamental purposeful change, you will most definitely find yourself in better circumstances.  The action needed is allowing.  A rebirth is assured.”

This one adds down to 11, and then 2.  The first symbolic number is telling us (as the guidebook said) that something has just ended/begun anew; the other shows the duality of Phoenix.  Ensuring that we are well-balanced in this fresh adventure.

As the definition states, we need only allow the release, and our success will follow.  I very much like the simplicity in that.

Today’s Deck:

Wisdom Of The Hidden Realms Oracle Cards by Colette Baron-Reid

FLP Report:

starts off with what we found in a parking lot near The Burrow today.

new hampshire license plates

They also had a Women For Obama sticker.

Dan believes this is his “mystery green” plate that got past us.  There were also Maine and West Virginia, but I think those might be repeats and they’re visiting in our end of town.  Plus we saw a very pretty (and new to us) Montana, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and more Alaskas.

LateNight Celebration:

hope everyone had a happy (and calm) Full Moon day.

  1. Wow, all the messages today are very very apropos for me right now. Phoenix energy always reminds me so much of Scorpio energy, so this card is very synchronistic with the partial lunar eclipse in Scorpio.

    ~
    Yup…
    Phoenix and Scorpio!

  2. For a full moon my clients were surprisingly sane.
The challenge letting go thing is for me.
Getting excited as my alone time grows near!
(Also – if you have time to check out my blog – go give Robena some love.)

Headed over there just moments ago.
Nicely done, J3, very nicely done!

  3. My full moon day in Mayberry was quite nice. I hope your Deputy’s day was as calm.

I also had a lovely time at the master class put on for the tuba ensemble, where I had volunteered for a public private lesson (15 minutes of one-on-one instruction from David Fedderly, the principal tuba player for the Baltimore Symphony; four of us volunteered for that). Big thing that I took from that (besides the technical aspects of how to put more air through my horn) was to let go of being afraid to make a mistake and just play.

    ~
    That’s it, exactly.
In SO damn many things about life:
    let go and just play!

  4. Oh, Phoenix is so where I am right now! And I need that encouragement to let go and allow the changes to continue. I’m afraid that I’m trembling about letting go entirely and thus am a little stuck. Imagining myself as Phoenix and allowing a total “rebirth” is helpful.

    No holding back!

  5. Love this. You know we chose the Phoenix for our symbol as Golden Heart finalists last year. We call ourselves the firebirds and named our blog that. Special to me. ; )

    ~
It is SUCH a great symbol.

  6. Every morning your blog is one of the first things I read to help me start out my day in a good way, but I cannot (almost always) create a coherent comment (oooo! alliteration!!) before coffee and then the day happens and in the evening when I get some computer time again, I can write a comment. And today is the first day for this entire week that I have not had to be somewhere and do something in the evening. It is the joy!!

I’m having a small rebirth, I think, so maybe Phoenix is there to help nudge it along.

    ~
Oh wow, you nearly made me cry. Thanks so much, it really helps to know that what I’m saying is helpful. And to start off your day with ME?!
Thank you, more than you know.
