Is it already Sunday, AGAIN?!

We all know how my relationship with Time is erratic (well, many things about me could be described that way).  So it should be no surprise to anyone that I have just now begun flipping calendar pages.  The rainbow selection is okay, not great, but perfectly fine.  I’m just not really drawn to the savanah.

madagascar rainbow

Madagascar. Apparently.

Or whatever this terrain is here in Morondava.  So we’ll just move on to the other one that is also fine, but not necessarily terrific to look at.  Fortunately, the sentiments are beyond wonderful.

affirmations, march

“I choose to move beyond where I was when I got up this morning . . .
and open myself up to something new.”

It goes on like this, down the side of the gridded page:

I choose to live my highest awareness.

I choose to remember that every problem has a solution.  And to know that this, too, is something I can deal with.  Because I choose to look at a situation in this way, the present problem is a temporary thing to me.  It is something that I am working through.

I am a good person.  I choose to let go of feeling sorry for myself.  I am willing to learn the lesson and to open up to the good that the Universe has to offer.

I choose to be willing to change.  I accept the fact that I will not always know how things are to be worked out.   I can trust and I can know.

Everything is working out for the best.  All is well.”

For what is remaining in March, I am going to stop along the hallway where this is hanging and repeat it daily.  I love it that much.

On our card altar, the daily draw message makes a lovely accompaniment to this affirmation.

Wulfenite  ~

preservation, duality, psychic awareness

Your powers of perception are strong at present and you will experience a heightened awareness of others’ thoughts and intuitively understand their motives and actions.

By drawing this card you are being encouraged to follow your feelings and instincts.  Rely on your intuition rather than on what others say – follow your gut feeling, for in doing so you will preserve the integrity of a project or situation which is dear to your heart.

In this instance, you are being encouraged not to listen to the conflicting opinions of others; listen instead to the guidance which stems from your own soul and all will work out well.”

we went to see my parents.  To deliver library book requests and for Dan’s first grill of the year.

Please notice that the doll has a new scarf, with matching slippers.

  1. I’m definitely in agreement about both your calendar pictures. And about the affirmation in the Louise Hay one. It is wonderful, indeed! And the card is definitely a great message, too!

You mom’s fashion creations are beautiful!

She uses yarns that are not natural fibers, so I don’t usually love them. One though, was a mohair blend, and that just felt like she was wearing a squirrel. Icky. To me.

  2. Those trees in Madagascar look like they’re upside down.
And I love the name Wulfenite but the picture makes it look like dookie. Sorry.
    Liking the doll decor.
    Sending you an email.

    dookie ?!

Now I can’t get that word out of my head!!!

  3. Yay for first grill of the year. And for the reminder to flip my calender page. I’m with JJJ on what the Wulfenite looked like…

Yeah, I know. SOME people have their BBQs out year round! 😉

  4. Wow, first grill of the year and it’s only the beginning of March! Go Dan!

The Wulfenite does look awful. I hope its powers of perception are better than it looks because I can always use more perception.

    Okay, everyone, gather ’round. HERE!
    Does that look better?

  5. I love the JulieLanders. It takes a lot to get me to laugh first thing in the morning. 🙂 Great card and calendar page.

One of my favorite parts of the day is when I get to sit down here, turn machines on, and see what everyone has had to say while I was sleeping (or biking around town).

  6. Those trees do look upside down. I like the affirmations.

I have to agree with you and J3 about those trees, but see Robin’s remark below.
    She’s right.

I stood in the upstairs hall today and spoke this affirmation loud and clear. It was lovely. I highly recommend doing it that way.

  7. Those upside down trees are Baobob trees, remember? Tree of Life!

And I’ve seen Wulfenite, and, yeah, the picture makes it look a bit squirrely.

Love March’s affirmation. And here is some new (?) music for you:

    Very cool, thanks!

  8. Okaaay. So while reading blogs I’m cruising Cusco on YouTube. I definitely like this grabbing music thing. Finding Cusco in stores has been difficult and I didn’t know there was quite a bit more of his stuff out there. Yes, I know, I’m waaay behind the times. At any rate, the point here is: someone “art worked” Cusco’s “Ring of the Dolphins”. Did you know there are underwater hotels? OMG. And there is alot of dolphin and mermaid artwork in this that you will love. Halfway through there is a bunch of betta pictures. Not sure why they put them in a dolphin thing, but, hey, pretty. (I have two of my own, but still, why?) Anyway, I saw the art and thought of you.

    Very interesting! And yeah, odd.

Although, I have to either look at pictures, or listen to the music, can’t do both.
