Tag Archives: time is not under our control

It’s not a game.

And usually it’s not fun.   But it IS a part of life, and one of the lessons we must become good at handling in order to evolve on a soul level.  It is also one of my LEAST favorite activities.  AND it’s our damn message today.

Although, it IS said that patience is a virtue.  Just not one of mine.  Yet.  How are we to know though, if it might (or might not) become one for this new 2.0 Version of Me?  We don’t.  However, stranger things have happened.  Much stranger.

“Wait  ~

Don’t rush into action right now.

Bide your time for better results.

If you take action now, you will miss a window of opportunity that is coming up for you shortly.  Don’t worry – you will know in your heart and gut when that moment arrives.  In the meantime, it’s important to meditate and make sure that  your breathing is deep and frequent.  (Often we hold our breath or experience shortened breath during stressful periods.)

You are also on the verge of receiving new information that will alter the course of action you plan to take, leading you in a more positive direction.  By waiting, the outcome will be much more enjoyable than if you took action without this added information.

Affirm:  I have infinite patience, and I am Divinely directed to always be in the right place at the perfect time.”

When I got home from the pool tonight (which turned out to be late anyway) I saw that there was an e-mail request from one of my children.   Could I find a specific photograph?  I looked and looked and looked and then kept looking.  I was SURE I could find it.  I still think this.  But I can’t keep up the hunt.  I have packing and worrying* to do.

*Truthfully, I’m not too worried.  This is the summer of travel, so I’m hoping that we’re getting better at doing it.  Also, we just went the other direction so recently that I feel like I can practically toss all the same things back into the same bags and be fine.

When I sat down here (finally, and still behind-ish) I read the card definition.  It made me think of how we are doing all the time, on different levels, in our lives and on our paths.  Like this picture I want to locate.  And like how I have BEGUN packing (and making copious lists).  And how I still need to eat something soon.  And how I have a cross stitch project that’s not done.  And and and……  so many layers of where we are in each day, and even each hour.

Being all new and improved and shit seems to be giving me a very cool perspective on some potentially important (and powerful) things.  Previously I’d be in a huge panic about how much is still NOT done.  And how I am failing my poor baby by not getting this foundrightnow!  But at this second in time, in this place right here, I sit.  Being more rational.  Looking at what the Universe is saying.  Basically the reasoning here is that I can’t fucking do it all at once.

I’ve said it before, crap falls apart and no one dies.  Perspective is essential.  We are asked to wait.  To be patient.  To breathe and have faith.  It’s a tough one, sure.  But I know we can do it.  I know it’s the right move.  Or, non-move.  So.  I’ll let go of the control, allow the angels and my Team to be in charge, and after I’ve done what I can here with the time available, I’ll just focus on breathing.

The absolute truth is that everything DOES happen when it’s supposed to.  We are NOT in the driver’s seat here.  We are merely along for the ride.  Hopefully we learn what we need to, in the best possible way.  With very little discomfort.

Bottom line for me today is that I just wait, as the mermaids are telling us to.  Why rush around at this point, getting all sweaty and frustrated?  The items we need to find will show up when they are good and ready to.  And, that will be the perfect moment.  It just will.

Not a worry in the world.

Does this guy look bothered to you?  Me neither.  Let’s listen to Max and heed the signs.  Patience, it’s the name of our lesson for now.

Oops, almost forgot to add, I really like this illustration.  I’m not usually a fan of this type of artwork, but the woman who rendered that particular card did a beautiful job.  Her name is Katherine Kiss and the guidebook gives some (brief) info, but I can’t find anything on her at all.
