Something terrific happened. In my brain. It was like a mini-epiphany. I was leaving the pool, chatting with one of my delightful water friends, and it hit. All sudden like. I’ve begun to let go of some incorrect ideas. I wanted to put it on a bumper sticker:
Release Works!
Unless you are a Perfect Person (you aren’t, are you?) then you might understand how huge this is. When we are able (finally!) to wrap our heads around a concept that had previously (four decades) alluded us, well, that’s nicely satisfactory. It’s practically cause for celebration.
I don’t want to get overly excited though, because relapses happen. In my case, on a regular basis. But it is just so refreshing sometimes, to simply say, “hey, I get it!”
Waking up today was also delightful. Not a phenomenon I’m all that familiar with, but it’s getting to be more common than not. Our channeled message is:
as we walk our path, we are never alone.
So maybe that had something to do with my lovely, and effortless, understanding this afternoon. How comforting if it did.
On our card altar I was directed to reach out of the rotation again, to this message, which seems to be picking up on a theme.
“Magic of Nature ~
Spend time outdoors, among the flowers, plants, and trees. Nature has powerful gifts that she wants to share with you, including ideas, information, and healing energy.
When you are disconnected from Mother Earth, you may feel depressed or lethargic without knowing why. Earth too, feels distraught when you don’t connect with her on a regular basis. She needs you to be amidst her beauty so that she can telegraph information to you. In this way, you’ll know best how to care for your planet.
By drawing this card, you are urged to spend time daily (even as little as five minutes!) outside in nature. Remove your shoes and socks, and connect your bare feet with the soil, sod, or sand. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths as you’re surrounded by the magical energy of nature.
Mentally ask the fairies to help you with any issues you may have. Then, open your eyes and look for their flitting light, which is the first sign that you are seeing the fairies that surround you.
Affirmation:
I love being outside in nature. I feel energized by the sunshine, fresh air, plants, and animals. I take excellent care of every living being, including myself.”
We could also add to that, something about gaining strength and nourishment from the cleansing rain. Because ya know, we don’t ALL have sunshine, ALL the time, Doreen!
(We don’t all have access to sand and soil either, I know. But we encourage you to be creative and do the best that you can.)
Although, today it was sunny and hot. VERY much like real summer, which sort of surprised me.
