Ready For a Freaking Break, NOW!

There was a fatal incident here in town today, just as I was leaving for the pool.  So tonight’s post will be brief.  It did not involve anyone I am related to, gave birth to, or am married to.  But it was a person I knew, a person who had helped me.  I need to refocus and grieve a bit now.

There continues to be difficulties on the personal front, and they are massively sad-making.   Looking at them with the perspective of this event, well, obviously they are just crap that we need to get past.  Still, things were almost starting to get better around here….  Mercury rights itself tomorrow, we can only hope this helps.  (Once we get past the Shadow Effect, that is.)

Here is a picture I took yesterday, but didn’t get a chance to share.  I like to vote with my dollar, as you all know, so I avoid big box stores, frequenting local shops every chance I get.  This place has been a part of our downtown for decades, and I love knowing that I am doing my tiny part to help them stay in business.  (And when I say “tiny” I really mean it, no one could make a living off of me and what I spend anywhere.)

They do a Pen of the Month club that I joined many years ago.  The second time I participated, I won the drawing.  It was most exciting, and now, even if I never win again, I really enjoy going in there to get my free pens.  They all know me, so that’s entertaining too.

Here is our card.  And once again, I fully expect someone to make fun of it.  Sure, why not.   Just don’t forget the message.

“Breaking Free  ~

Do you feel trapped in some life area right now?  This card asks you to take the first step in freeing yourself from any unnatural restrictions.

Sometimes we feel trapped by outside circumstances.  For instance, we believe that financial or family obligations compel us to accept an unsatisfactory job.  Or, we are afraid to leave or fix an unhealthy relationship.  Perhaps we feel that our family or spouse won’t ‘let’ us pursue life-enhancing activities, such as college classes or exercise programs.  Then again, maybe we feel controlled by addictions.

The fairies say that when we are responsible for ourselves, we are more responsible for others.  That is, when we are happy, our family, friends, children, and partners enjoy being around us and are inspired by our strength and confidence.  Pray for, or focus on, help in releasing your fears and in assisting you in breaking free.  The Divine plan is that you be responsible, while simultaneously feeling as free as the birds, angels, and fairies.

Affirmation:  I am free, and I am powerful.  I now allow myself to enjoy this freedom and power.”

Tomorrow Empress and Max are coming over, so JulieLand will be a cheerier place.
