Spiritual Health Improvement.

             When we tune in, really really pay attention and tune in, we are better able to catch the signals that we’re being sent.  That’s one of the definitions of Present Moment Consciousness, that act of being aware of our own inner voices, as well as the guidance we receive from so many places.

             I’m working on a new Improving My Mind project right now, just picked up the book at the library this afternoon.  It appeared at exactly the right time.  I heard the message* and I followed the signs.  I’ll absolutely let  you know how it’s going as we proceed along.

*The authour was featured on Russell Brand’s show, and you know how much I adore Russell Brand.

             On our card altar today I was guided to reach for that deck-of-so-not-beautiful images.  Which was kind of great in a way, now we finally get to use the new cover-ups for this illustration.  The words, obviously, need no change.

             Without that distracting view, I like this one even more.  And it reminds me a bit of what we were given yesterday.  The freely gifted abundance from Buffalo, and my own mother’s phenomenal generosity.

             I’m going to take a Quiet Three Minutes and meditate on this one, and then get back to my new Change The Brain book.  It feels as though we all can use a nice healing boost.

Today’s Mileage:

got a bit messed up.  After Wednesday’s ride we forgot to zero-out the bike computer, so it added on to where and how far I went this afternoon.  By doing some simple math (gah!) the numbers are only sort of clear.  I (probably) rode 9.46 miles at (maybe) around 9 MPH for (possibly) about an hour and three minutes.

Yesterday’s Baking:

did not go as well as I had hoped, but not nearly as badly as the last time I tried something like this.  (Actually, like THIS.)  Blame Alana, she mentioned this one at her place, and you know how damn suggestible I am.

             Yes, it IS more Blondies.  Because I had, as my mom used to say, Mother Hubbard’s cupboards to work with.  So I tossed it all in to a pan.  They taste great, but look not-really-good.
