Being ourselves, with more choices.

This afternoon was very accomplished for me.  I biked, I spent some time with Ryon and his punishing weights, I showered, and I baked*.  Tomorrow I have an additional list of shit that needs to be done, but I’m hoping Dan can join me.  Erranding is always more fun with a friend.

*Another round of muffins.  Less spoon needed, still edible.  This time I forgot to add in coconut, so I put it on top at the end.

Look at this.  On my way home I spotted that food truck near the bike path.  It was there two weeks ago too.

sammiche vans

It says SAMMITCH !!!

Must investigate this further.  The Deputy says he might have seen it in Mayberry not too long ago.  Since my beloved Devour guy has left town (hopefully not forever) I need a new food van to frequent.   And this one is VERY conveniently located.

In my busy day the card flipping had to wait until I got back, instead of happening first thing.  But when I did see it, I was SO pleased with the illustration.  Not to mention what it has to say.

Explore Your Options  ~

It’s time to look at other possibilities.

It’s a good time to make a change.

Sometimes we think, this is the way it is, and we don’t see other options.  By drawing this card, Heaven now asks you to question any situation that you think can’t be changed.

Take a moment and pretend that a magical mermaid has granted you three wishes.  You can have anything you want!  What will you wish for?  The truth is that most anything you desire is possible and this card asks you to explore your options.  At first, you might do so mentally – through daydreams and nighttime dreams.

Then it’s important to turn those possibilities into realities by breaking them into small goals that you can accomplish today.  When you explore new opportunities, the energy of the Universe begins flowing in the direction of your dreams.  Any step that you take – no matter how small – will help you see options that you may never have noticed before.”

The imagining/manifesting messages are some of my favorites, reminding us that there are practically no limitations in this exciting world.  Also, as direct lines of communication from the Universe and our Teams, they come along when we need them the most.

Just like this e-mail I received from Corina yesterday.  Precisely the words needed at exactly the perfect time.

Last night as I lay in bed I was pondering various things, and this just started coming to me, and I had to get up & write it down:

It is only when we love ourselves for who we are that we can truly start to change.  For when we love ourselves unconditionally, exactly as we are in this moment, we can let down our defenses.  We no longer have to say ‘Well, this is who I am’ in defense of our ‘weaknesses.’  We can step back and ask ourselves ‘Is this who I truly am?’ And in this way we can identify the ‘parts’ of ‘who we are’ that really aren’t part of our true selves, our Divine Selves.  We can see the ‘parts’ that have been bestowed upon us by our parents, religious doctrines, society, our friends, and our detractors.  When we love ourselves completely, we can know which parts are truly our own, and which are false beliefs about ourselves that have been instilled so strongly in us that we came to believe they were our own.”

When we clear away the old patterns, and we look forward to all of those endless options out there, we can’t help but begin to transform.  And by transforming, we are learning our lessons in the highest and most positive way possible.

I’m going to grab a muffin now, and go sit for my Quiet Three Minutes with that adorable wee merbaby, seeing my wishes come true.

  1. They have a website.

    HERE

  2. That Sammich menu makes me so jealous. The closest I get to that would be Subway or drive 45 minutes to Panera. Sounds like you had a good day. Me, too. There is a big uproar at work right now and to avoid it I took paid time off. I love it when they pay me not to work.

    ~
You were commenting on me while I was commenting on you. I love when that happens.

    Yipee for paid time off!!!

And no way are chain places anything like independent vendors. So sorry you don’t have fun folks making sammiches in your area. :(

  4. Yay for gettin shit done, and more edible muffins!

Sammitch truck… awesome! With such a creatively painted outside, I figured the sammitches HAD to be creative, too… a look at their menu proved that assumption 100% correct! OMFG, ground bacon??? I never knew such a thing existed… now I wonder if it can be found anywhere near here?!! (Probably not, and that is probably a good thing for my waistline!)

WOW… I really should expect these things by now, but OMFG, could our messages have synced up any better??? I sit, amazed, again, at the blessings & synchronicities The Universe bestows upon us! Such a beautiful card, too! :D

    ~
Now that I’ve found the truck and found the website, I’m gonna have to work my way through that menu.
WHO COULD DECIDE ON JUST ONE CHOICE ?!

Yep, we make an outstanding team. That fact gets a validation a day now.

  5. My first wish is automatically to win a large enough Lottery so I can share with loved ones and still be independently wealthy for life. So not exactly a “look for options on how to get this” sort of thing. But after that, yeah, stuff I can do something about. And I love the mermaid baby!

The closest thing we have to your sammitch truck are taco trucks, and I refuse to patronize them because of the horror stories about dirt and vermin and salmonella. Your sammitch truck looks clean.

    ~
Ha, I’d be ALL over those taco trucks. Clean?
    Meh….. that’s subjective.

(The best tamales I’ve eaten since my great-grandmother died, were a bagful that Emmy bought from a woman in a mini-van who was driving around neighborhoods.)

I’ve tried not to focus on No Plot for Nano, just let it happen. But I’m getting nervous. Just this morning I was thinking to give up on the character I have for Nano and try something else. I think I will explore that idea. ;)

My first wish was for a plot. Didn’t even think about the freaking lotery!
Yes, I need help with my addiction. Has there ever been a Nano intervention?

Thank you for getting out of bed to write down that paragraph. I’m gonna print it out and put it in my book. It is so true.

And a donate button!! YaY I’ll get Jess to help me figure out the paypal thing. = )

    ~
The new option was just a reminder. You do what is easiest for you. :P

Did you try the meditation to have our Merbaby bring you a plot?

  7. That van lives up by where the Tubameister lives! I have got to go grab a sammitch…maybe even today!

Love the card. One of my best things about our visit to Maui with my in-laws was the day Mrs. Denial and I swam over and through a reef and ended up snorkeling with about 10 Turtles.

I have been having a personal epiphany regarding what Corina wrote (way more eloquently than I ever could hope to.) I won’t bore you with my really pedestrian prose, suffice to say that, like Popeye, “I am who I am, and it is who I want to be.”

    ~
Your Popeye epiphany is awesome! I want more details, in person maybe.

And hey, let’s compare notes with the food truck. We need to keep track of menu items, and who has eaten what. With four of us playing along we should get through most of them pretty quickly, so we can find favorites!

(I am ridiculously excited about this. But it’s not a food obsession. Right?)

  9. No sammitch trucks here either. *sigh* If someone in a truck started selling things around here they would first want to know where the carnival was and second think they were selling stolen goods.

Not much else to add. I’m brain fried from no sleep and people are yammering at me while I eat wanting decisions made for tonight which is senior night at the football game. (stomp, stomp, stomp)

    ~
    Speaking of health……
have you tried the Three Minutes, to see if our Merbaby could help you with the sleeping issues?
