We got home kinda late from Mom and Dad’s. I ate too much, and I’m slightly puffy from the heat. (It was NOT a hundred though.) So all we get tonight is a few picturesque views and our card. (Plus that dog, of course.)
(The parents are both feeling better, thank you all for your caring energy sent in their direction. She also wanted me to tell you that while she was watering her fuchsias a frog fell on her head. True story. We can’t make this shit up, the truth is so damn much better.)
Here’s a phone photo Dan took from the driveway as we were leaving. THIS is one of the reasons why they don’t want to leave.
And this one, looking out over one of the chicken barns. Yeah, we were thinking it looks like rain too.
Obviously there was also some Max time. (He was being uncooperative, at this point, but my camera and I don’t care.)
Our daily draw has come back around for the second time through those lovely stones.

resolution, stress reduction, potential new possibilities
An ongoing problem or dilemma will soon be resolved in an unexpected way. As a consequence, your stress levels and anxiety will decrease. Through this, exciting new pathways open for you and you discover new possibilities for your life.
As this current situation is resolved you will simultaneously and subconsciously let go of a past regret or guilt that has only served to sabotage the creative possibilities that have been available for you for quite some time. It is time for you to shine!
Open your heart and you will see the unlimited potential that resides within you.”
I like how this one chimes right in with our message from yesterday. So hopeful! And wow, stress reduction, as well as problem solution. It doesn’t get any better.
Today’s Deck:
Crystal Oracle Cards by Toni Carmine Salerno
LateNight Addition,
Corina reporting in from the road (she’s traveling right now), had Foreign License Plates to share:
Manitoba, AZ, NM, WA, OR, and Mississippi.
With the addition of, “…beautiful & wondrous drive. Beautiful cloud formations, faint rainbow, then a beautiful moonrise.”

A frog fell on her head. Wow.
Those views are beautiful.
Max certainly knows how to express things with his face.
I could use some stress reduction and some new possibilities.
Hope your day has been good!

My Moonday was definitely good. Great pool news this evening (which I put into tonight’s post). Hope yours was good too!

Love those photos. And the card…I could use that card. Can definitely do without frogs falling on my head though. : )
~
Are you sure? Maybe a frog on our head is JUST what we all need, lol.

Those were some impressive clouds last night. I don’t think we got any rain over here, though. We went and heard the Eugene Highlanders at Washburne; they have been cancelled due to thunderstorms the last 3 years in a row; I was surprised that they didn’t get any rain last night.
Glad the folks are doing better, even with frogs falling on them and such…
~
The Highlanders bag pipe band? Oh I love them!!!
(You guys get to hear ALL the good music.)

Well, next Sunday, “Calamity Jazz” will be playing some awesome Dixieland. My friend Meg plays bass sax in that group. Just a heads up for you. The 26th the Oregon Brass Society plays (British Brass Band style music) and on Sept. 2nd, the One More Time Marching Band will close out the season. I know you’ll be busy those weekends, but in case you’re in town….
~
No clue where we’ll be when, but thank you very much!

I could so use that card! And I love crystals. Have I mentioned that?
At the end of the month is the Ren-fest we go to every year and our favorite crystal supplier. I can’t wait!
The cloud pictures are lovely and Max is adorable!
~
Oooo, an event coming up! Super cool, I want to see pictures over at your place.

This card is just what I need. I’m hoping for a solution to the joblessness in a good way and not in a full-time, commute to the office kind of way.
Beautiful pictures. I can see why your parents don’t want to leave.
~
They will miss this place, we all will. But, as Hanna said, it’s time.

Love your mama’s stories. With views like that I would not want to leave either. Hot, Hot, Hot up here too. There seems to be a break in the heat today. Baby girl slept over night, yeah for sweet babies. Saw 4-TX and 5-OR among a few WA and CA. A few provinces and other states. I am very impressed you went for a ride in the heat.
~
My mother is very much her own wee person, that’s for damn sure.

Well, what do you think is going to happen when you douse the frog in the fuchsia?

A frog on your mom’s head, OMG, that is hilarious & so cool! I definitely can’t blame them for not wanting to leave, either, it looks beautiful!
Beryl is so lovely… had never heard of it before, but has a wonderful message that does dovetail so very well with yesterday’s!
We’re just all kindsa special.
