Eat, meet, and greet (on the road).

            Our Friday leg of the Summer Traveling Adventure (Twenty Twelve!) involved food stops and over ten miles of walking.  All interesting and fun.  We also went out to many adult drinking establishments and met with friendly young people.  I brought my cards, and was finally able to put some faces with names of folks I’d heard Hanny talk about for years.  Way cool!

               There are surprises around every corner.  This park was one I could have happily stayed longer to enjoy.

              History, waterfalls, fascinating tourists and locals to observe.  What’s not to love?

             We did some shopping.  Groceries as well as necessaries.  And one or two wee gifties.

             This place was across the street from an Asian dollar store type of shop.  I was in bargain heaven.  Good thing we weren’t driving, and I knew what we bought we had to carry, because I would TOTALLY have kept selecting shit I couldn’t live without.

             I don’t know about every other resident of this city, but the one I gave birth to is VERY excited that their seaside will soon have that above attraction.  VERY!

             Nice, huh?  A delightful blessing.  And, bonus.  One we weren’t expecting (which makes it the best kind).

              In our wanderings we landed here.  Cupcake Royale.  Because, duh!

              By the time we got home, and ate out treats, I realized that we’d forgotten to photograph them.  They were beautiful, and delicious.  Take my word for it, I never lie about baked goods!

             Before we left I had a flashing thought to bring the new deck (with the questionable art).  But it didn’t get packed.  So.  We just have these.  (Yes, that’s how it came up.)

The Chariot ~  7

                We are traveling.  Yep.  That’s part of the message for me.  For everyone else?  Well, it IS Major Arcana, so that’s always big news.

             Movement is the key word.  Going forward.  Seeing out path and staying on it.  Doing your work as you journey through life.  Learning lessons and seeing improvement.  The main chapter is not “driving” the steeds here, but merely rolling along together with companions.  Here is out link to nature, and our connection to Mother Earth.

               There is a perfect balance here, when this one arrives right-side up.  With a tweak we need to look at WHY we’re slightly off right now.  Question what we see around us, listen carefully and with much patience to our signs and messages.  Stop the cart for a moment and take in more of the scenery.  I’m really thinking that part of this one today is saying that a pit stop might be in order.  Briefly, just to get our bearings.
