Repeat After Me. Again.

             Oh my dearest darling JulieLanders, you do challenge me so.  Yesterday both Robin and Skye (you know I adore you guys!) committed the cardinal sin of saying “this one doesn’t apply to me” or some other similar sentence, as their responses to our message du jour.  Funny how the Universe works…..

            In our card altar room today I was advised to reach across what-serves-as-my-desk and go with a deck that is not in our regular rotation.  Wanna guess what the message had to say?

“Leadership  ~

Archangel Gabriel:

‘It is time for you to assume your leadership power and position, and lovingly guide others.’

Additional message:

‘Embrace your power in a loving way, and use it for the greater good.  I will guide your actions so they inspire and motivate others.  I will also replace any self-doubt about your qualifications with an increased desire to serve, help, and teach.  When your focus is more on ‘how may I serve?’ then you won’t worry what others may think about you.  Focus upon your strengths, the many lessons you have learned, and how good it feels to be a living example of following one’s Divine guidance.’

Working with Archangel Gabriel:

Gabriel’s name means “God Is My Strength’ and this phrase describes you as well.   Regardless of your background, you have God’s strength pouring through you at all times.  Gabriel can help you fearlessly tap in to this power.  She will reassure you that it’s safe for you to be powerful, and protect you in all ways.  Gabriel’s aura is copper, like her trumpet.  When you wear the crystal stone citrine, or the precious metal copper, you readily connect with her energy.”

             Begin by replacing the words that don’t work for you, then re-read this.  Slowly.  Paying attention to every bit of it.  (An example would be:  you have the strength of the Universe pouring through you at all times.)  Got it now?  Okay, we may move on.

            It has been suggested, not here but elsewhere I’ve seen, that some people reach, they stretch around to make something fit when it really does not.  I’m not trying to do that.  I never do that.  What I’m saying is that to declare this NOT for you, is to deny the help and assistance we are being given so graciously.  These cards and messages are gifts from the Universe to us.  We may accept them, or we may turn away.

              You know what happens when we turn away from our lessons already.  We’ve all seen it fall, sickeningly onto, and over, someone’s head, Tower-like, because they chose to ignore the signs.  Or maybe that someone was us?  We KNEW we were denying our messages, and yet, we kept pounding away.  As I said, it never ends well.  In fact, in many cases, it is painful.  (And sometimes even fatal.)  No one can deny THAT.

            Here is an illustration that I like, very much.  This particular presentation is supremely gorgeous.  (Corina, we may have found an artist I don’t hate.)  The repetitive nature of this sign is clear, crystal fucking clear.  All of us are good at something.  We have our talents, our skills, our blessings.  What the Universe is trying so hard to say is that we need to be sharing them, we need to be shining a bright gawdamned light on them, and screaming it from the rooftops.  No more false modesty.  No more denying that the signs are not here.

             This was one of my newest breakthrough’s with *A* yesterday.  She led me in a guided meditation, checking in with my own damaged wee self elf.  It was stunning what my body reported back, once I learned how to tune in and listen.  I am really super healthy!  Ha!!! Who knew?  (Sure sure sure, all of you did, and everyone in my freaking family, but I did not.  I absolutely did not.)

             Finding out that there were so many recommendations (and earlier in the year, requests) for me and my pool class, was an amazing lesson to learn.  Leadership in water movement?  ME?!   Huh.  Turns out, yes.  I’m all healthy and shit.  Apparently I have some sort of dynamic water presence, or something!  Again, who knew?  (Everyone but me, is the correct answer.)

             When we aren’t sure how to SEE or HEAR or tune in, we need to ask for help.  (Hint, you all know a witch who does this, on a metaphysical level, as her job.)  Whether to find out emotionally, spiritually, or physically, what is up when we are feeling confused/stuck/not-exactly-right, we ALL need professional help.  Seek out a pro*.  As in any field (real estate, for instance, is a huge pet peeve of mine, do NOT buy/sell that house without a licensed broker!) going to a person who has experience, certification, references, and a loving attitude, is your ticket to wellness and joy.

*And pay them.   No, I’m not talking about me here, just in general.  If you end up hiring me for a service, then lovely, yes pay me.  But also, pay (promptly) whoever you’ve found to employ or engage.

             That I am now able to sit down with someone who is trained in the type of help I need feels like the most treasured gift.  That there are resources out there for all of us, no matter what our situation or need, is also a blessing.  (And there are,  I promise you, there are.)  Ask for help.  Seek guidance.  Listen to our messages.  When we allow the Universe to give us these presents we are easing our lessons along.  Not fighting them, but learning gently.  Which, seriously, is SO much better than the alternative.

             Our Daily Dog is a view of Max in his favorite kitchen chair.  I had just gotten back from my bike ride* and he was listening to Dan get ready for work, soon to be coming up the stairs.

*My back (nothing to be alarmed about, simply a stiff spot), and a voice in my head, told me this evening, that I need to step away from the bike tomorrow, and instead, walk that same five miles.  Don’t have any idea why, but that was what I heard.  So that’s what I’ll do.
