We are up to the new Crystal Oracle deck now! And you will just fall over from hysteria when you see what the first one turned out to be. I Laughed Out Loud. Loudly. But it’s a good one, they all are. I have not read the entire book, nor have I examined every card, I like to enjoy them along with you, so they will be as new to me as they are to everyone else. Here is how the guidebook starts off:
“Crystals are basically minerals that over huge spans of time (ranging from thousands to millions of years), have crystalized through a combination of pressure and extremely high temperature. They are found in most parts of the world, either on the earth’s surface or buried deep within. It is amazing when you think that any crystals you may possess are thousands of years old.
It has long been believed that crystals are able to store information and can also be programmed for certain specific purposes. This is an interesting theory especially when you realise that quartz is used in computers and other electronic products for that very purpose.”
He includes some really informative history and his own ideas on usage. He also talks about the truth of unconditional love, the universal thoughts around the world, and the healing properties these bits of earth have exhibited for centuries. This is going to be a really cool deck for us, and I am so glad it found me.

There are 44 different cards, and I think each one is just going to be so fascinating. I don’t know a whole lot about this divination method, but I’m sure it will be way fun to for us to learn this way.
In erranding news, Daniel and I saw the perfect example of what I had just recently mentioned in the comments. Incorrectly placed stickers.
When the DMV sends these to us in the envelope, there are also frighteningly clear and simple instructions. So really, there is no excuse for this type of thing. (Gah! Shit like this absolutely makes my freaking head explode.) We noticed a Massachusetts car that we drove by last week, also coming home from grocery shopping, so I don’t think it’s gonna count any longer. Earlier we had seen one from New Mexico, but that was it. We were thinking it would be a very slow foreign day, when we then spotted: NEW HAMPSHIRE!
(I wanted him to stop or pull over so I could get a picture, but he was all concerned about not running down some kids on skateboards, and traffic backing up behind us. Jeez, whatever!)
Time for the healing portion of this post. I made a quick mention of it over at Lucy’s earlier, but I wanted everyone to be aware, as well as ask for any thoughts, prayers, good vibes, focused intentions, or other assorted Magickal aspects that could be helpful. You remember how, many years ago, I found the perfect husband for Dan’s sister Michelle? Well, our beautiful Bruce has been dealing with an on-going medical issue that brought him back to the hospital yesterday. We need him to be all better, and all healed, and all Bruce again. As soon as possible.
I also received this letter from Lora today:
“My blog is broken for some reason and I’m about to make my second trip into the hospital with kidney infection that I’ve fought for ten days with three separate antibiotics. There’s lots of unbelievable back pain even with meds and i would like to request vibes and prayers.
Thank you!
P.S. according to exam and doppler, Sweet Pea is fine.”
So, let’s focus shall we JulieLanders? Harness that power of the earth and all those crystals. We need for Bruce to be back on his feet, feeling fabulous, mentally and physically returned to perfect health. We need Lora and her Baby Diva to heal, to be free of pain, and glow with their own perfect wellness and health. Let’s use our new message of strength. Let’s prove the test of time and truth, in our intentions of bringing about miracles of speedy recovery and rejuvenation, for the health of our family, friends, and loved ones.
Sending vibes to the physicians taking care of both Bruce and Lora that they will be awake and aware to the perfect avenues for initiating healing in Bruce and Lora.
Loved the petrified wood. I’ve read that passage before. I don’t remember those cards but I must have seen them somewhere. I used to sub for a friend in his metaphysical book store in Albuquerque. Maybe then.
I’m ready for a transformation or a transmutation. Which brings me to a question – 3 days in a row I’ve encountered Monarch butterfly mentions. – What does this mean Mrs. Radio? (Or am I asking for something that would be equivalent to people asking a doctor for free medical advice? If so, tell me to cease and desist and I will.)
I am concentrating on massive get well vibes and pushing them out with all my love and strength. FGBVs to Bruce , Lora and Sweetpea and anyone who needs them.

Clever- I was thinking about you and Julie with the butterfly thing today, last night while I was cleaning I found a hair clip which I thought I had lost, it was a butterfly so I took it as a sign and decided to wear it today.

Healing energy and puple light going out to Bruce and Lora. XT is going to tap into the FGBV’s for her innards, which chose to go the “wrap around the scar tissue” route, and plop me in the hospital again, overnight. The negative pressure worked, and I got to go home yesterday. I will tell the story of my friend Tyler sometime, and how focused healing energy helped her.
I am looking forward to the new deck. I have leaned on healing stones often, and carry them about. My friend Pat was gifted with a whole lot of different stones from a variety of sources for her mother’s funeral (she had chosen two, I brought one, two college/hs classmates brought some and my sister gave her one). Go for earth energy!!

@BarbN: it may be time to switch to Word Press. I’ve been thinking of it for a few weeks for my main blog. (I cannot create the same look for my other blog, so don’t intend to move it over.) Blogger needs some healing vibes too, it seems.
Love the card. Love crystals and healing stones and tend to have a stone with me most of the time. (They go thru airport security with no problem.) This is a great card and I hope it points to me, too, because I can use some of that energy.
I hear ya, but I’ve been with blogger for almost eight years. I’ve heard wordpress is way better, but I just don’t want to switch. I just want blogger to get their act together. I never had any problem with it at all until a few months ago, and now it seems like it happens a couple times a week.
Not only massive healing prayers to Bruce, Lora and to little sweetpea to be a perfect, healthy, beautiful little girl, also to the medical staff. May they be divinely inspired with wisdom and knowledge to aid in the repair of the wound and ending of the nasty UTI. Try a different browser– I usually use Firefox, which is where I was having the problem, but there’s no problem if you use Safari or Chrome– or IE, I’ve heard.
