I have been relatively mild-manner lately (must have to do with getting older, and hopefully wiser) but the other day I yelled some very bad words out my car window. (Not like I don’t usually toss bad words around, I do, regularly, I just don’t hurl them out my car windows on a regular basis.) Today it happened again. I am completely puzzled, and obviously intolerant, of drivers who insist on motoring along at five, ten, and even fifteen miles BELOW the posted speed limit. This just makes my head explode. On a road I travel every single day there are several signs, within about a one mile stretch. Clear, large signs, advising drivers what the maximum is. I am chronically behind the idiot who cannot read numbers. Making me feel like I’m part of a freaking slow parade. (Not that parades are known for their speed, but you understand.) It forces me to scream obscenities and wave my arms around madly. I need a megaphone. Or a gun.
Alright, enough of that bad temper. Let’s do our card. When this one first came up a while back I tried to describe it to you, now I don’t have to, since I have given up worrying about copyright laws.
The Keeper of the Scales ~ fairness, balance.
The law of harmony is enacted when the Keeper of the Scales comes to us as an Ally. Align with her as the law states, making conscious choices that create balance in our lives. When we do, we also magically align with the abundance of the Universe and the powerful forces of synchronicity. This creates conditions and possibilities that lead to the fulfillment of our highest intentions.
Harmony begins with the self and then resonates outward to others. We are in harmony with ourself when we nurture ourself with love, respect, and acceptance, always fully taking responsibility for our actions. Only then can we be in harmony with others. This is because love is the central force that connects all of life and aligns us with like-minded others.
Another part of this message is restoration and the positive, fair resolution in all disputes, including those involving the legal system or other important exchanges. The Keeper of the Scales is a just and kind Ally, always making sure balance is activated on our path.
When I first saw this card it immediately struck me with its simple yet immense beauty. I love this picture. The message is also so straightforward, speaking to me in a direct and profound way. (Gawd I love my cards.)
